Welcome to this design review.
1.
We are here to review the work, not to attack the people who did the work.
2.
Appreciate the context and conditions of how this work was done.
3.
Be constructive not destructive.
4.
We want to know what is working and what isn’t working.
Background.
We are working on [this product/service].
We want to [purpose of this work].
We are in [discovery/alpha/beta].
We have [making prototypes and testing them with possible users to help us understand something].
These prototypes are [definitely disposable].
Our prototypes are [not a suggestion of what the service will be].
…although it does feel there is a suggestion of what the service will be.
So far in interviews we have shown our prototypes to [people who are in a specific situation].
Next week we will be [interviewing people who are in this situation] using a prototype as a stimulus.
Why are we doing this review?
We have been working at a very fast pace.
We don’t want to work in a bubble.
Wider sharing helps us have wider thinking.
It’s good to share!
…and maybe you will think about doing this for your services.
How we’d like to do this review.
We want you to understand the start-to-end journey, so we’ll walk and talk through a journey with you.
Please make notes as we go along.
If something is unclear as we go along, please raise your hand.
After the walk and talk throughs we will then go through the work again – and take your thoughts.
[How we will record your feedback]
Warning!
What you’re about to see is really rough and ready.
