Christopher Columbus discovered America. Columbus and eleven men sailed by boat. They sailed from Spain with hundreds of men on three ships.

Columbus and his men were preparing themselves to reach Asia in five weeks. Then, at 6 o’clock, October 12th, 1492 Columbus landed on island. He wanted to visit Asia because he hoped to find gold, spices and other treasures.

Christopher Columbus discovered America which is a big continent. He was a great explorer.
