Creating Static Backgrounds in Google Slides

Background

  • Create slide that has only items that need to be in the background (unmoveable)
  • Download as a JPEG or PNG
  • Insert a new slide
  • Set background as an image that is the downloaded previous slide
  • Video

“New” Text Box

  • Create a new slide. Select a layout that has “text boxes”
    • Ex: Title and two columns
  • Copy the text box that says “Click to add text”
  • Paste that in your slide
  • Format as you wish!!

  • Copy and paste the number of items needed in the stack
  • Highlight only the items needed to be stacked
  • Right Click on highlighted items- Align horizontally - Center
  • Right Click on highlighted items - Align vertically - Middle
