We are facing strong attack on ability to TRUST

Way its important to have TRUST

Jesus didn’t manage his image. He stewarded his Character and trust followed…

“For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering, just as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in his steps. He never sinned, nor ever deceived anyone.”�1 Peter 2:21-22 NLT

2.  Trust builds strong relationships

Jesus spent 3 quality years with his disciples.

“I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me.”  �John 15:15 NLT

3. Trust strengthens unity

If people don’t trust you, you can’t lead them

“Now Jesus was deeply troubled, and he exclaimed, “I tell you the truth, one of you will betray me!””�

John 13:21 NLT

The big enemy of TRUST is HURT. 

How do we want to react as leaders when we are hurt:

1. Respond with Grace, Not Retaliation.

“But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.”

- Mathew 5:44

2. Seek the Lesson, Not the Blame

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking . anything.”  

- James 1: 2-4

3. Forgive and Release

1. And “don’t sin by letting anger control you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil.”    �- Ephesians 4:26-27 NLT

4. Keep Your Eyes on God’s Bigger Picture.

“Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.””  �- Matthew 28:19-20 NLT   �

God, thank You that You are my Father and I am Your child. Jesus, thank You that on the cross You took upon Yourself all my rejection, pain and traumas. I let all of it go…

I am a member of God’s family. Heaven is my home. I belong to the family. I am not rejected. I am accepted. You love me. You want me. You value me. You take care of me.
