Each week we will be sending a 4th grade newsletter to help explain what is going on the upcoming week.

Snacks

We will have snack time in the morning. It will typically be between 9:30-9:50. Since we are nut-free in our classrooms, students should not bring any item containing nuts. Our hope is that students will bring a healthy snack, such as: fruit, a veggie, or dairy. Students need to be able to open these items on their own and be responsible to cleaning up after themselves. When possible, we will try to eat snack outside.

What is coming home each day

Each day your child should be bringing home his/her homework folder and planner with homework assignments written down.

Homework information

Students will need to read for 20 minutes each night. Students may also have other homework assignments, such as writing spelling words, studying for a test, etc. Students should have their homework assignments recorded in their planner. If needed as a back-up, homework assignments will be posted on the fourth grade website.
