Chain of Communication�Playing time is Non-Negotiable�*Do not judge the success of your player on a 2 hour window. Each player�contributes to the team throughout each week or they wouldn’t be here.� “It’s not about you” Inky Johnson��

  • 1st: Student – Coach: Talk with the coach First.
  • 2nd: Parent / Athlete Meeting with Coach (athlete must be present)
  • 3rd: Parent/Athlete/Coach Meeting w/ Coach Marsh

  • Problem Solving Equation: 5% problem 95% Solution

~24 Hour Rule: Please wait 24 hours to voice a concern & set up a meeting. Please do not address a situation after a game, match or meet.

Social Media: We will only post positive things about our team. We will not post anything about another team or player.

Program Structure

Practices:

Flag Football: 1 Practice each week dictated by the coach/team. It can be anywhere you’d like. Approx. 1 hour a week. Coaches will reach out to their teams through Crossbar. **if we don’t have coaches**

Tackle Football: 3 Practices the 1st week & then 2 a week (Tuesday/Thursday) 5:30-7:30pm at the Polka Grounds.

Games:

Flag Football: 1 game each Saturday until Oct. 3rd (last game) This schedule will be put out in the next week or two. Pulaski HS athletes will be there to work drills with the kids as well. 8-9:15am & 9:30-10:45am

TEAM RULES

  1. 2 Personal Days per season (any reason)
  2. Sick Days must be communicated via e-mail or text: Expectation is by player or parent.
  3. Do not be afraid to ask for a day off for whatever reason. We know there is only so much time/days. We will work around the conflict.
  4. PLEASE COMMUNICATE TO YOUR COACH so they can organize practice/games. It helps a lot!

Team Selection & Playing Time:

**Teams may change slightly with coaches being added.

Flag Football: Playing time will be as equal as possible. Coaches get to select one other player, the rest are randomly chosen.

Tackle Football: Playing time may not be equal. This may depend on the situation, attendance, attitude & safety of the player. Teams will be selected following the 1st week of practice.

*Players will get playing time in all games if they are at practice.
