Part 1

Update your spending tracker so it’s as up to date as possible.

  • The tracker is required to appeal for funding this year
  • This allows the Finance Committee (FC) to see that the club keeps track of its spending.
  • Make a copy of this example and save it as Org_Name_Tracker_23/24

Part 2

Fill out the request budget.

  • This budget does not need to be itemized, but include any details you deem necessary
  • Your minimum should be the minimum operating budget. You club should be able to function if the FC only approves the minimum.
  • Make a copy of this example and name it OrganizationName_AppealFA2023

Part 3

Fill out the the complementary questions

  • These allow FC to gather more information about the club
  • These questions are required
  • Make a copy of this example and name is OrganizationName_ComplementaryFA23

Part 4

Complete the Appeals Application

  • Complete the questions on the application
  • Submit your other paperwork here
  • Asks for contact and basic information for the organization

Optional: Meet with FC Member

If your organization is requisition more than $1,000, the FC highly recommends meeting with a member of the FC

  • Use this to go over any questions you may have about the paperwork before submitting it.
  • You can also ask the member to check over the parts of your application, like wording, to maximize chances of being awarded more funding.

FC Reviews and Votes

  • The Finance Committee meets every week
    • Submit applications before 6pm on the previous Sunday to improve the chance the committee will review it that week
  • Members will read over your application and vote on whether to fully, partially, or not to fund your org.
  • Sophia will email our decision shortly after that.
