Association of Sociologists of Uzbekistan (ASU)

The Association is a non-governmental non-profit organization that aims to facilitate sociological research and to create an environment for communication between sociologists within Uzbekistan and bring them to the global sociological network.

Founded: 2019, by Presidential Decree.

Global Recognition: Member of the International Sociological Association (ISA) since 2021.

Core Mission: To advance sociological research in Uzbekistan by building intellectual, scientific, and technological capacity. It connects sociologists nationally and integrates them into the global sociological community.
