SUMMER
These resources are for parents to be able to use with their children over the summer.
In elementary school, we want you to practice math facts with your child 5 times a week for at least 15 minutes a day.
For middle school, there are skills to work on each day that will take about 15 minutes to solve. An answer key is included, so you and your child can see the process. If they can master these facts or skills, it will make the following year(s) a little easier in math.
These are designed to be parent-friendly and not time consuming, but still beneficial for your child.
PRE-K
SUMMER ACTIVITY
*Spell their name, first name only
*Count to at least 20
*Write numbers from 0-10
*Be able to recite the alphabet
*Match upper and lowercase letters.
You can print these out or make them on index cards or pieces of paper.
KDG-FIRST
SUMMER ACTIVITIES
Count up to 100(keep going)
1ST/2ND & 2ND/3RD
The biggest priority is for your child to practice and master their Addition facts.
If they have mastered addition, move on to subtraction facts.
Make sure you keep reviewing addition facts.
You can make your own flashcards on index cards.
