Experiences
Virtual Experience Sample Agenda:
5 minutes - Intro by CEO/ ED
5 minutes - Champion Context. Leader or champion offers brief history of organization (founder) or why they champion org.
10 minutes - Impact through our eyes. Interview of program team member on what they’re seeing on the ground (evoke storytelling when possible).
5 minutes - Impact through the world’s eyes. Prerecorded video (serves to break up event). Can show services performed (for example, tutoring clubs or programming). Be creative! If an organization provides last mile care in remote areas, consider recording and sharing the drive to show participants the effort to provide services.
10 minutes - Impact through their eyes. Live interview of beneficiaries if possible. Another option for a live interview is a government official to speak about the organization’s impact in a region.
10 minutes - Engage with the impact. Eg. live or prerecorded demonstration. Successful demonstrations we’ve seen: dance performances, artist sketches, student mock debate, engineering showcase (a student shows something he/she built). The goal here is to help the participant feel connected to the work.
5 minutes - Impact through the funder’s eyes. Funder testimony. Foundation shares why it chose to invest in organization and speaks to the partnership
10 minutes - Q&A and brief closing remarks
*Depending on your intent, you can use intro or champion context to frame Purpose (30,000’) and Priorities (14,000’). Can predispose to ‘How you can help’ (3’) from funder’s eyes or in closing remarks.

ZanaAfrica Example: Engaging with the Impact
About ZanaAfrica Foundation:
ZanaAfrica Foundation works to provide girls in Kenya with the tools they need to safely navigate puberty and unlock their potential. They provide free sanitary pads as well as a rights-based reproductive health education. Their RH education includes dynamic magazines full of locally created comics to help girls understand their rights and their health. In a recent virtual experience, ZanaAfrica asked its illustrator Naddya to demonstrate how she creates comics for youth across Kenya. It captured everyone's attention and was a very engaging (low fidelity / high access) way to engage funders. Please visit and support http://www.zanaafrica.org/
