How To Upload Stacked A+ Content on Amazon KDP

STEP 1
• Log in to your Amazon KDP account. Not Author Central!��• Click on “Marketing”

•Scroll down to the A+ content module, choose the marketplace you’d like your A+ content to appear on, then click “Manage A+ Content”��
STEP 3
•Click on “Start Creating A+ Content”��
STEP 4
•Select “Standard Image & Dark Text Overlay”��
STEP 5
•Leave “Headline” and “Body Text” blank, unless you’d like your individual image slices captioned and titled.
•Click on “Add background image”��
STEP 6
•Upload the top slice of your A+ graphic, add your image keywords, and then click “Add”.

IMAGE KEYWORDS
I’m sure you already know about keywords on KDP, the words you use when publishing your book to boost your Amazon book listing. Just like when you publish a book, the keywords describing your A+ content are usually invisible on your actual listing, but there are two important reasons why you should include them: accessibility for the visually impaired, and customer search optimization.
ACCESSIBILITY
People who have visual impairments buy books! Keyword text helps those people shop by describing images for them, read aloud using a screen reader. If you were browsing for a romance novel and came across an image described as “image1.jpg”, then found another author’s book with an image described as “passionate embrace under a starlit sky”, which would you choose?
SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION
Image keywords give Amazon’s search engine a better idea of how to index your images, which means your book listing’s SEO gets a boost in customer’s search results. Amazon now states that image keywords “help your product appear in search.” That makes the keyword text field an ideal home for extra keywords that pertain to your book.
STEP 7
•After your top image slice is uploaded, click “Add Module” and repeat steps 5-7 for your middle and bottom image slices.��
STEP 8
•When you’re done uploading your three image slices, you can preview and marvel in amazement at your new A+ content.
•If you’re happy with the preview, click on “Next: Apply ASINs”.

•Here is where you’ll apply your A+ content to your book’s listing. Once you’ve done that, just click “Review & submit” and you’re done!��
