General Leave Package

11 Paid Federal Holidays Annually

Sick Leave: 4 hours per pay period, 104 hours annually (13 days)

*If you have a VA Disability Rating of 30%+, you receive 104 hours of Wounded Warrior Leave Act leave for your 1st Year only.

Annual Leave:

<3 Years service (Or Retiree): 4 hours per Pay Period (13 Days/104 hours)

>3 but <15 Years: 6 hours per Pay Period (19.5 Days/156 hours)

>15 Years: 8 hours per pay period (26 Days/208 hours)

3-Tiered Pension Plan

Your Retirement consists of three parts:

  1. Social Security Annuity Payments
  2. Federal Pension
    • For every 1 year of service, you receive 1% of your High-3 salary
    • If you retire at age 62, you receive 1.1% of your High-3 Salary
    • Thrift Savings Plan Payments*

*This is the portion that you can control the most!!
