I believe that you’ll learn best when you are

comfortable, relaxed, and distractions are

minimized. These

procedures will help accomplish that!

Overall “rules”

  • You pick out your seat for the day only when you are here to stay. (Can’t drop stuff and leave)
  • You can’t save seats. Everyone is welcome everywhere. No exceptions.
  • You must put your magnet on the section you wish. Wait in the line. If you cut, you go to the end.
  • Cell phones must be either parked at the stadium OR in your locker. NO phones until last 3 minutes.

Cell Phone Stadium

I’m trying something new this year. I understand 100% that parents want their kiddos to have their phones with them (my kids do). However, they are a huge distraction, so I have a “Cell Phone Stadium.” They are required to park them here or keep them in their lockers. It is also a charging station. I will give them the last three minutes of time to check their messages. If a student violates this policy, I will hold their phon

e for them for that class. Second violation, we’ll give you a call. Third violation, I’ll hand it over to their Assistant Principal. Fingers-crossed this Cell Phone Stadium will work for all of us!
