• Applications must be completed by your parents or guardians.
• Application Deadline: January 31st, 2027
• Do not delay. Submit your application as soon as possible.

Attendance Unexcused Only

To be eligible, you must have less than 27 unexcused absences during the school year leading up to January 31, 2027.

That means:

• We look at all of your 7th grade attendance
• Plus your 8th grade attendance up until January 31, 2026
• Anything before 7th grade doesn’t count

Expression of Interest (pick one)

(1 Entry)

• Send a video or audio file of your project to studentinterest@sersd.org
• Upload photos of your project, a letter of recommendation, or a student essay in the admissions portal
• Schedule a short, non-evaluative virtual interview
• This just means it’s a friendly conversation!

How the Lottery Works

1. You’ll get your lottery numbers
1. You can earn up to 3 lottery numbers.
2. We’ll send your numbers by email and mail.
3. You can also see them in your Admissions Profile up to 14 days before the lottery.
2. We double-check everything
• Before the lottery, we make sure each student has the correct number of entries.
3. The lottery happens!
• The lottery will be recorded, so you can watch it later if you want to see how it worked.
4. Check your Admissions Profile
• After the lottery, you’ll see one of two results:
1. Student Accepted: You’ve been offered a spot at Southeastern!
2. Waitlist: You’re on the waitlist and may be offered a spot if one becomes available.

Admissions Timeline

• Applications Open: November 1, 2026
• Applications Close: January 31, 2027
