Introduction:

Have you ever read the Harry Potter books by J.K.Rowling? If you haven’t then you should. The author of the books, J.K.Rowling is a talented writer. She is going to keep writing books for kids and she even wrote a book for adults.

Early life:

Joanne Kathleen Rowling was born on July 31,1965, in Chipping Sodbury, near Bristol,England. Her parents were Peter and Ann Rowling. Her dad managed an aircraft factory and her mom was a lab technician. Joanne only has one sister named Diane, but usually calls her Di. Also, Joannes last name is pronounced “rolling”.

Teenager Years

As a teenager she went to Tutshill and Winterbourne local schools. When Joanne was done writing a story she would share them with her friends at the lunch table. While being a teenager, her mom became ill with multiple sclerosis (M.S.). Her mom died in 1990. After Joanne graduated from Wyedean Comprehensive School, she went to college. She attended Exeter University and studied French.

Adult Years:

After Joanne graduated from college, she worked as a secretary. In her words she says she was “the worst secretary ever”. Joanne married a Portuguese journalist and had a baby,Jessica. The marriage ended. She moved to Edinburgh,Scotland,to live near her sister. She was a broke single mother.

Conclusion:

In conclusion,when all of the Harry Potter books were finished,she married Dr. Neil Murray, and now the family has grown to include three children. Jessica has a brother,David,and a sister,Mackenzie. the family lives in Scotland. You see,Joanne worked hard for everything. I encourage you to read this series of books. And this is the life of J.K.Rowling.
