Overview

Incoming freshman to RMHS will enter their 2025-2026 course requests online through a google form.

This presentation will walk you through filling out the form and selecting your requests.

Section 1

As you start the form, open up the linked RMHS Course Codes and the RMHS Course Descriptions documents in a separate tab to see the list of courses available for next school year.

Also review your linked graduation requirements to understand what courses you will take to graduate from high school.

Each form has 9 sections in which you will complete. The first section will ask you to provide your and your parent(s)/guardian(s) contact information. Please provide the email address you check most frequently in case your counselor needs to contact you about your requests.

Requesting Courses

You will request your courses in sections 2-8 of the google form.

If you have questions about what course or level to take, check in with your JW counselor and teachers regarding their recommendation for you.

Section 2 - English

Select your English course request. All students must sign up for an English class.

Note the listed graduation requirement for each subject.

Select your math course request.

Keep your teachers recommendation and the math pathways in mind when selecting your request.

Section 6 - World Language

Select your World Language course request.

If you are starting a language for the first time or starting a new language you will need to also choose an alternative level 1 language request in case your first choice is not available.

NOTE: You will need two years of the SAME language to graduate.

Section 7 - Physical Education

Select your Physical Education (PE) course request for semester 1 and semester 2. You can choose the same PE class all year or a different PE class for each semester.

Here you will also choose an alternative, or second choice, PE request for semester 1 and 2 in case your first choice is not available. Make sure your alternative requests are courses you would want to take.
