• Revealing what resources are available can unveil what gaps are present- be aware of these

Best practices

• Always have your elevator pitch ready�
• Be prepared to encounter questions you don’t know- that’s okay!�
• Do plenty of research prior to calling
• Who do you need to speak with?
• Any specific programs? �
• Be polite, courteous, but seem excited�
• Always try and solidify a specific time to have a follow up call�
• Offer to send curriculum= materials/samples for their team to review�
• Be mindful of their time
