What do we need to know about Jesus?

Over the past two thousand years, countless pastors, priests and theologians have sought to understand the fullness of Jesus’ life, ministry, passion and resurrection.

However, there remain essential aspects of Jesus’ mission that have been hidden and have now come to light!

Although it took 4,000 years to bring Jesus Christ—the only begotten Son, whom God could call “My son”—into this world, neither Mary who gave birth to him, nor Zachariah’s family, nor the religious leaders, nor the people understood Jesus.

Even in his own words we can see why the coming of Jesus is so important. He said, “I Am the Way, The Truth, and the Life, and without going through me, no one reaches the Father.” The birth of Jesus as the Messiah was the day of hope for all humankind. Jesus came to remove the original sin that has been passed down for generations.

But even after they finally met the Only Begotten Son, those closest to Jesus and the people who had been prepared for thousands of years still did not recognize or receive him.

Mary conceived Jesus Christ though the Holy Spirit and gave birth to him, yet was unaware of the reason for his coming and what he had to achieve on earth.
The birth of Jesus as the Messiah was the day of hope for all humankind. Why was the record of Jesus’ birth not preserved? December 25 was chosen as the date by Pope Julius I in 350 AD, although this claim is dubious or otherwise unfounded.
Zechariah and John the Baptist received revelations about who Jesus was, but did not lead lives according to those revelations.
The Jewish leaders and people persecuted Jesus, accusing him of blasphemy, not believing him when he claimed to be the Son of God.

After thousands of years of preparation, God gave the birth of Jesus, for him to grow as the Only Begotten Son and fulfill the 3 Great Blessings.

God’s Plan was that Jesus discover and marry the prepared Only Begotten Daughter and together become the True Parents and realize God’s Original Will!

Sadly, however, Jesus was rejected by the Chosen People and was killed, bringing immense grief to God and postponement of God’s Original Will.

God is our Heavenly Parent

God chose the Israelites and sent Jesus, the Only Begotten Son, to fulfill God’s dream of True Parents

The Israelites could not receive Jesus, so he promised to return to fulfill the Marriage Supper of the Lamb

Let’s briefly review. Originally, God, our Heavenly Parent, created humans in God’s image, as man and women. God blessed the first human ancestors, Adam and Eve, to multiply God’s family through true love, becoming True Parents. If that had happened, human history would have been a history of true love, true life and true lineage, the Kingdom of Heaven on earth and in heaven.

Because that original ideal of human life was lost by the failure of the first ancestors, God worked a painstaking providence of 4,000 biblical years through the ancient Israelites as the chosen people, in order to be able to send Jesus as God’s only begotten Son. However, the religious leaders of the time, and even Jesus’ own family and disciples, could not receive and support him. Therefore, Jesus promised to come again, to fulfill the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. In the power of this promise, Christian history began.

Christianity has spread all over the world, in many different forms

God still intended to send a son and daughter who would fulfill their original responsibility as the Only Begotten Son and Daughter, the True Parents, and first true Human Ancestors through whom God could reconnect with His children.

Although Christians have surely waited for the Second Coming throughout the 2,000-year history of Christianity, our first responsibility and mission is to find out where the only begotten Daughter, the one to become the True Mother, shall appear.

For God to bring forth the 2^nd Advent and the only begotten Daughter, God needed to find a nation that had endured injustice for over 5,000 years and was now filled with devout Christians.
