Language and social skills play a huge role in someone's daily life.

Some people are severely impacted by autism while some are only mildly so.

Autistic individuals may have difficulty understanding verbal communication or non-verbal cues from other people.

They may also have trouble feeling empathy towards others which can lead to difficulties communicating at school, work, and home.

Famous people with Autism:

Chris Packham:

Chris Packham is a naturalist and a wildlife presenter. Packham was diagnosed with Asperger’s in his 40s. He has previously spoken about how his diagnosis has helped him explain feelings of isolation and depression he suffered as a young man. Packham has his own show on BBC where he allows four other people around the UK diagnosed with autism to show their family and friends what goes on inside their mind

Anne Hegerty:

Star of television quiz show, The Chase, Anne Hegerty has been widely praised for opening up and discussing her Asperger’s.Hegerty was diagnosed with autism aged 45, after she watched a TV programme about the developmental disability and recognised some of the traits in herself. She experiences sensory issues and struggles with loud noises when she's tired or stressed.
