The Three Billy Goats Gruff.
Design and make bridges from different materials - test them out and discover which material makes the strongest bridge?
Find three objects - compare their weights - heavy, heavier than, heaviest, light, lighter than, lightest.
Read the story of the Three Little Pigs - what things are the same and what things are different compared to The Billy Goats Gruff?
How would the story change if you changed the characters?
Choose musical instruments that match the “trip trapping” over the bridge. Can you retell and act out the story?
Does the bridge really belong to the troll? Discuss his behaviour - how could we help him? Hot seat the troll, thinking of questions you could ask him and advice you could give him.
Write a list of rules for the troll.
