DEI promotes fairness and inclusivity, and it also drives innovation, strengthens decision-

Intersectionality
The different aspects to our identity = social identities
Examples: age, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, abilities, gender, religion,
socioeconomic status, and culture.
Intersectionality = social identities intersecting and overlapping,
creating unique experiences for every individual.

Why is understanding intersectionality important?
