Mask Mandate

• COVID cases in WPSD schools and in Delaware County continue to decrease.
• Based upon the review of current data, the administration recommends the Board review and modify our current Health and Safety Plan.

• Proceeds support the PA Special Olympics in support of athletes with intellectual disabilities
• Team goal was to raise $500. More than $2,100 was raised!

Penn Wood High School - Green Avenue Campus

Wednesday, March 23 at 6pm

Black Lives Matter Mural Project

• An expressive symbol of the importance of the BLM movement; raise awareness, encourage dialogue, call for change (Sept. 2021)
• Installed in the street in front of Penn Wood High School - Green Avenue Campus
• Mural installation agreement reached between the WPSD School Board and Lansdowne Borough
• Artists commissioned to design and lead the installation - Jeleata Nicole and Drew Montemayor
• Mural painting will be a community activity

Video Compilation of Mural in Norristown

• Dr. Becoats met with approximately 30 high school students to get feedback on the mural installation
• Mural project is a community activity; all are invited to participate in painting
• Installation scheduled for June 13-16
