What is Call?
TKC is a nationally recognized, award winning journalism program. We are a free publication, meaning our administrators do not engage in censorship or prior review, and we are supported by advertisements from local businesses and patrons from local families. Our program is entirely student-run. Mrs. Meyers, our adviser, oversees the program.
Pioneer Yearbook
- Last year’s book: If students did not pick up last year’s book, they may get one in SJ before the end of 1st semester. After that date, old books may not be available.
- Senior tributes are $80 and must be ordered by Oct. 31 on Jostens.com.
- Applications for staff: Follow our Instagram and listen to announcements to learn about informational meetings in November. Applications are due in December. We highly recommend taking the Intro to Journalism or Photography class prior to applying.
- Questions? please email: Katie.Meyers@kirkwoodschools.org
- To buy your yearbook go to Jostens.com or scan the QR code. Click “Find my school,” type in Kirkwood, select “shop” and then enter your information.

Early College Program
The KHS Early College Program is a partnership between KHS and St. Louis Community College (STLCC). Students apply for the Early College Program in January of their sophomore year. Early college students spend their junior and senior years of high school taking college classes full time at STLCC. This fully-immersive college experience allows students to get a real college experience, graduating with a KHS High School Diploma and possibly a STLCC Associate’s Degree. Learn more about the Early College Program.
