To create Material Master for Split Valuatoin management, you first create the Plant Level Accounting View where you assign the Valuation Category. The Plant level or TOP level Accounting view is Mandatory

In MM60, you can now see the Material Accounting view at Plant level without Valuation Type.

Since the material was activated for split valuation, you cannot perform any goods movement for this material using this Accounting view.

You have to extend the Material’s Accounting data view to the Valuation Type level in order to use it for goods movement at the Valuaton Type level.

is only required to establish split valuation activation for the material and reporting statistical totals.
