Good Morning My Angels!

I hope you and your family are will. I miss seeing you and telling you stories. I am picking up where we left off in World Religions. I am hoping that you all will find these activities interesting and share what we have covered with your family and friends/classmates. Yes, I am encouraging you to use your phones to call and text your friends! Can you believe it? ~ Find a simple map of Saudi Arabia on Google or Bing.

~ Draw the map “free hand” Remember ti start with the Mediterranean Sea coast and then add the other bodies of water in the region.

~ Can you find the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers?(we studied these already… Mesopotamia?) How about the Nile River and the Red Sea?

~ What happens to a hat that is thrown into the Red Sea?

~Label the cities of Mecca/Makkah and Medina/Yathrib

You will need the title of the Map, the key and the compass rose, color the map.

~Show your map to your parents, explain what you did.

~Phone a friend and explain what map you chose and why, what was easy, what was difficult, what sea is to the west? What Gulf is to the east? Where are the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers in relation to yhe cities?
