Frank’s Blog entry for today..

:I was a bit uneasy about whether or not I should be involved (in this effort), because I figured that a few high school students wouldn't be able to handle this kind of responsibility. Nonetheless, I decided to give it a shot. I am so glad that I decided to take this wonderful opportunity. This has truly been a unique learning experience, for I have learned an incredible amount and also have been immersed in what I was doing.

If I had a chance to do this all over again, I would, without a doubt.

I certainly did not envision spending the summer working on an elaborate energy saving program, but I am really glad that this was the case.

Thanks everyone!!!

Ideas for dashboard

Display energy usage data prominently

    • Data per CT
    • Daily (Occupied?), Nightly (Unoccupied?), Weekly, Weekends
    • Class room temp data
    • Per student energy usage (Therms, kWh, $$)

Display Terminal

    • Enable interactivity with audience (Location choice – Cafeteria)
