Lessons Learned from Mission High’s Anti-Racist Teaching structures

  • First developed structure for an Anti-Racist (Leadership) Committee
  • Aligned PD
  • Re-designed bell schedule and master schedule including addition of Ethnic Studies Pathway and addition of teacher -collaborative structures
  • Implemented grade disaggregation and looking at student work protocols and set clear expectations for these
  • De-Tracked virtually ALL classes and created anti-racist driven AP/Honors enrollment and retention policies and structures
