The Aspen Family portal account provides parents and guardians the ability to keep up with their student’s progress at school.
If you don’t have an Aspen parent portal account please contact the main office at BMS (978-921-6103)
Information in Aspen
For all BMS students, final grades and comments for each term and at the end of the school year are posted on report cards to the Aspen account.
Attendance and schedule information is also displayed in the account.
Grade 6 - 8 teachers have an option to use the Aspen gradebook throughout the term, but many communicate student progress through other means or grading programs.
Check with your child’s teachers to determine how to best stay in touch with academic progress on an ongoing basis.

Getting to BMS Aspen
Use your device’s web browser (Safari, Chrome) to go to the BMS website
Click on the Aspen icon

Use device’s browser (Safari, Chrome, etc.) to navigate to the �BMS Aspen page.
Aspen Mobile logon page appears.
Enter Aspen username and password.
Aspen Mobile opens.
Use the table in Aspen Mobile
View grades in classes
A list of classes in the current year and term appears, with each teacher's name and student’s current averages.
View previous year/term classes
Click the Year drop-down and select Previous Year, or click the Term drop-down and select the appropriate term.
To change the columns, click the filter (funnel) icon in upper-right corner of screen.
View class average, standards, and attendance
Tap a class name to view student average, standards, and attendance summaries in that class
See scores in a category
Tap a category name to view all of your scores for all assignments in each category
View assignments
View any assignments due today or tomorrow
Tap the paper clip to view attachments
Tap box next assignment name to check items off 'to do' list.
Click on an assignment to view its details.

Getting to BMS Aspen
Use your web browser �(Safari, Chrome) to go to the BMS website
Click on the Aspen icon

The starting point is the Pages tab, the Published Reports widget on the right side will display report cards. Report cards are published three times a year at the end of the trimester at the middle school.
The Family tab displays your students. Select student and view pertinent info by choosing the appropriate side tab.
Tip: Middle school parents can see their student’s login and password by choosing the technology tab, from details side tab.
Depending on your student’s grade, the academics tab provides information about your student’s academic progress.
To view assignment and test grades, select the class and choose assignments side tab.
