●THIS IS MY YEAR 15 AT DA VINCI, I HAVE BEEN WITH THE DISTRICT FOR 20 YEARS. I AM A NATIVE SPANISH SPEAKER, ORIGINALLY FROM LOS ANGELES. I MOVED TO DAVIS WHEN I ENROLLED IN UC DAVIS TO DO MY UNDERGRAD IN SOCIOLOGY AND SPANISH LITERATURE.

MAKE-UPS:

  • ASSIGNMENTS, HOMEWORK, PROJECTS OR EXAMS MISSED BECAUSE OF EXCUSED ABSENCES ARE TO BE MADE UP WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THE STUDENT’S RETURN TO CLASS. ANY WORK NOT MADE UP ON TIME WILL BE RECORDED AS A 40%. ZEROS MAY NOW BE GIVEN ON DESIGNATED CULMINATING ASSIGNMENTS THAT ARE NOT COMPLETED.

Cell Phone Policy

● You must ask permission to use cellphones in class.

  • Cell phones need to be put into the classroom holder at the beginning of class.

​

  • You are allowed to listen to music with headphones only during “student work time”. You are not allowed to listen during presentations or any group instruction time.

​

  • Misuse of cell phones or headphones will result

in loss of privilege and the device will be surrendered to the main office.
