  • Currently, there are too many means of communication that are spread too thin and yet still do not reach many arrowmen
  • A scout might prefer:
    • Email
    • Slack
    • Texts
    • Calls
    • Social Media

Currently:

  • Lodge Master currently implements ONLY email
  • Not everyone has/ checks email
  • Lodge Master only utilizes it for mass notifications rather than inter-lodge communication

  • In 2016, Slack became common in OA communication on all levels
  • Though it has its uses, it remains another extra account/ app you have to oversee
  • Many scouts aren’t willing to access this foreign software

  • Utilizing programs such as Remind, mass text messages can be sent out to the bulk of the Lodge
  • Texts are generally more popular among the youth
  • To take advantage of this it requires yet another software and there is no way to base the text operation out of Lodge Master

Currently:

  • If a Lodge or Chapter wants to notify all members of an upcoming event, phone calls can be extremely useful
  • However, reaching all members can be extremely time consuming
  • Automated messaging softwares exist, but why doesn’t Lodge Master offer this capability?
  • Also, softwares can offer conference call capabilities

Currently:

  • Lodges utilize Facebook, Instagram, & Twitter
  • They can be very useful to spread Lodge information
  • Not everyone uses these platforms, and once more, they prove to be just one more external source we have to use to communicate

  • What if all elements we previously mentioned could be easily accessible through Lodge Master? Imagine if we could utilize Mass Texts, Automated Calls, and outside message softwares all from the convenient platform of Lodge Master (where we already send emails from)
  • We imagine a world of communication in which one single visit to Lodge Master could mean spreading Lodge News to all those platforms at once

  • Now imagine, as you conclude your announcements within Lodge Master simple selecting to share those same announcements straight to your Lodge’s Social Media
