THE RIGHT TO ABORTION IS HEREBY RECOGNIZED. GOVERNMENT SHALL NOT DENY, IMPEDE, OR DISCRIMINATE AGAINST THE EXERCISE OF THAT RIGHT, INCLUDING PROHIBITING HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR ABORTION.
Title
A change to the Colorado constitution recognizing the right to abortion, and, in connection therewith, prohibiting the state and local governments from denying, impeding, or discriminating against the exercise of that right, allowing abortion to be a covered service under health insurance plans for Colorado state and local government employees and enrollees in state and local governmental insurance programs.

Petitioner: “Are you a registered voter in Colorado?”
Petitioner: “Great! I’m working with Coloradans for Protecting Reproductive Freedom to protect abortion rights in Colorado, regardless of insurance coverage. This initiative is about keeping the government out of personal healthcare decisions. Will you sign?
Voter: “Sure, I’ll sign.”
Petitioner: “Great – thanks!”
Walk the voter through the petition form, box by box. Remind them to use their registered address, and to LEGIBLY fill in all information.
Petitioner: “Thanks so much for your time!”
