በዕንቍ ጳዝዮን፤ እምነ በሐ፣ ቅድስት ቤተክርስቲያን።

ግድግዳዎችሽ በጳዝዮን እንቍ የተጌጡ ናቸው፤ ሰላም ላንቺ ይሁን! እናታችን ክብርት ቤተክርስቲያን።

መስቀል አብርሃ! በከዋክብት አሠርገወ ሰማየ፤ እምኩሉሰ ፀሐይ አርአየ።

መስቀልን አበራ! በኮከቦች ሰማይን አስጌጠ። ከሁሉም ፀሐይን አሳየ።

ይበሉ ሕዝብ፦ እግዚአብሔር ይፈልጠኒኑ እምሕዝቡ፤ ኵሉ ዘገብራ ለጽድቅ፣ ጻድቅ ውእቱ ወዘያከብር ሰንበተ።

ከምዕመናን ይለየኝ ይሆን ፈጽሞ አይበል። ጽድቅን የሠራ ሰንበትን ያከበረም ሰው ሁሉ ጻድቅ ነው።

ይበል ዲያቆን፦ ጸልዩ አበውየ ወአኀውየ ላዕሌየ ወላዕለ ዝንቱ መሥዋዕት።

ልዩ ሦስት ለሚሆኑ ሁልጊዜም ለተካከሉ ለአብ ለወልድ ለመንፈስ ቅዱስ ክብር ምስጋና ይገባል። ዛሬም ዘወትርም ለዘላላሙ አሜንአባቶቼና ወንድሞቼ በእኔ ላይ በመሥዋዕቱም ላይ ጸልዩ።

ይበል ንፍቅ ካህን፦ እግዚአብሔር ይስማዕከ ኵሎ ዘሰአልከ ወይትወከፍ መስዋዕተከ ወቍርባነከ ከመ መሥዋዕተ መልከ ጼዴቅ ወአሮን ወዘካርያስ ካህናተ ቤተክርስቲያኑ ለበኵር።

እግዚአብሔር የለመንከውን ሁሉ ይስማህ። የበኵር የቤተክርስቲያኑ ካህናቱ የሚሆኑ የመልከ ጼዴቅንና የአሮንን የዘካርያስንም መሥዋዕት እንደተቀበለ መሥዋዕትህን ቍርባንህንም ይቀበልልህ።

Truly the Father is holy, truly the Son is holy, truly the Holy Spirit is holy.

For his merciful kindness is great toward us.

ይበሉ ሕዝብ፦ ጽድቍሰ ለእግዚአብሔር ይሄሉ ለዓለም።

የእግዚአብሔር ቸርነቱ ለዘለዓለም ይኖራል።

የመድኃኒታችን የኢየሱስ ከርስቶስ አባት ሰውሮናልና ረድቶናልና ጠብቆ አቅርቦናልና ወደ እርሱም ተቀብሎናልና አጽንቶ ጠብቆናልና። እስከዚች ሰዓት አድርሶናልና።

ንፍቅ ካህን፦ ሁሉን የምትገዛ አምላካችን እግዚአብሔር ሆይ! እንለምንሃለን እንማልድሃለንም ከሁሉ በላይ በምትሆን ባንዲት ቅድስት ቤተክርስቲያን ውስጥ መባ ስለሚያገቡ ሰዎች። መሥዋዕቱ፣

የሌለበት መሥዋዕት እንድትሆን መናገርን አስቀደምህ። አሁንም ከበጎነትህ ቸርነት እንለምናለን እንማልዳለንም። ሰው ወዳጅ ሆይ ያንተ በሚሆን በዚህ በመንፈሳዊው ታቦት ላይ ባኖርነው በዚህ ኅብስት ላይና በዚህ ጽዋ ላይ ፊትህን ግለጽ። ይህንን ኅብስት ባርከው

and didst foretell that Thou wouldest be the Lamb without Spot for the life of the world. We now pray and beseech of Thine excellent goodness, O lover of man, make Thy face to shine upon this bread, and upon this cup, which we have set upon this spiritual ark of Thine. Bless this bread,

ይህንንም ጽዋ አክብረው ሁለቱንም አንጻቸው። ይህ ንጹህ ሥጋህ ይሆን ዘንድ ለውጠው። በዚህ ጽዋ ውስጥ የተቀዳው ወይን የከበረ ደምህ ይሁን፤ ለሁላችንም ያረገ ለነፍሳችንና ለሥጋችን ለልቡናችንም ፈውስ ይሆን ዘንድ።

and hallow this cup, and cleanse them both. And change this bread to become Thy pure body, and what is mingled in this cup to become Thy precious blood, let them be offered for us all for healing and for the salvation of our soul and our body and our spirit.

አምላካችን ክርስቶስ የሁላችን ንጉሥ አንተ ነህ። ከፍ ያለ ምስጋናህንና ክብርን ስግደትንም ላንተ እንልካለን። ቸር ከሚሆን ከሰማያዊ አባትህ ጋራ ካንተ ጋራ ከሚተካከል ከማሕየዊ መንፈስ ቅዱስም ጋራ ዛሬም ዘወትርም ለዘላለሙ፤ አሜን።

Thou art the King of us all, Christ our God, and to Thee we send up high praise and glory and worship, with Thy good heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit, the life giver, who is coequal with Thee, both now and ever and world without end. Amen.

ማርያም ዕጣን ናት፣ በማኅፀንዋ ያደረው ዕጣን እርሱ ነው። ከዕጣን ሁሉ የሚሸት ነውና፣ የወለደችው መጥቶ አዳነን።

መዓዛ ያለው ሽቱ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ነው። እንስገድለት ዘንድ ኑ! ትእዛዞቹንም እንጠብቅ ኃጢአታችንን ይቅር ይለን ዘንድ።

The fragrant ointment is Jesus Christ. O come let us worship Him and keep His commandments that He may forgive us our sins.

The Prayer of Faith

ይበል ካህን፦ እግዚአብሔር ከዓለም በፊት እስከ ዘላለምም ድረስ፤ እግዚአብሔር በሦስትነቱ አለ እግዚአብሔር በመለኮቱ፤ እግዚአብሔር በመንግሥቱ አለ። ከጎሕና ከጽባሕ በፊት፤ ከመዓልትና ከሌሊት በፊት፤ መላእክት ሳይፈጠሩ እግዚአብሔር በመንግሥቱ አለ።

ይበል ካህን፦ ሰማያት ሳይዘረጉ የየብስም ፊት ሳይታይ፣ ሐመልማላት ሳይበቅሉ እግዚአብሔር በመንግሥቱ ነበረ።

ከፀሓይና ከጨረቃም ከከዋክብትም በፊት፤ ከብርሃናትም መመላለስ ፊት እግዚአብሔር በመንግሥቱ ነበረ።

Priest:- Before the heavens were stretched out, before the face of the earth appeared, and before the green plants were produced, God was in His kingdom. Before the sun, the moon, the stars and before the motion of lights, God was in His kingdom.

ይበል ካህን፦ ከሚንቀሳቀስ እንስሳ በፊት፤ ከሚበሩም አዕዋፍ በፊት፤ ከባሕር አራዊት በፊት፤ እግዚአብሔር በመንግሥቱ ነበረ። አዳምን በርሱ አምሳልና አርኣያ ሳይፈጥረው፤ ትእዛዙንም ሳያፈርስ እግዚአብሔር በመንግሥቱ ነበረ።

Priest:- Before the moving beasts, the flying birds, and before the beasts of the sea, God was in His kingdom. Before He created Adam after His image and likeness and before Adam transgressed His commandment, God was in His kingdom.

ለአብ ለወልድ ለመንፈስ ቅዱስ ምስጋና ይገባል፤ ዛሬ ዘወትርም ለዘላለምም።

Priest:- He looked up to heaven towards you, His Father, gave thanks, blessed and broke and He gave to His holy disciples and His pure apostles and said unto them:

Take, eat, this bread is my body which will be broken for you for the remission of sin.

ይበል ካህን፦ ዳግመኛ ውኃውን ከወይን ጋራ ቀላቅሎ አመሰገነ ባረከ አከበረ። ንጹሓን ቅዱሳን ወገኖቹ ለሆኑ ደቀ መዛሙርቱ ለሐዋርያት ሰጣቸው ይህ ጽዋ “እማሬ” ለብዙ ሰዎች ቤዛ ስለናንተ የሚፈስ ደሜ ነው ንሡ ጠጡ አላቸው።

Priest:- Again He mixed water with wine, gave thanks, blessed, hallowed and gave it to His holy disciples and His pure apostles and said unto them: take, drink, this cup is my blood which will be shed for you as a propitiation for many.

ይበሉ ሕዝብ፦ አሜን፣ አሜን፣ አሜን ነአምን ወንትአመን ንሴብሓከ ኦእግዚእነ ወአምላክነ ከመ ዝንቱ ውእቱ በአማን ነአምን።

ይበል ካህን፦ ከዕንጨት አወረዱት በበፍታም ገንዘው በአዲስ መቃብር ቀበሩት። በሦስተኛውም ቀን ከሙታን ተለይቶ ተነሣ የተሰበሰቡ ደቀ መዛሙርቱ ወዳሉበትም ገባ፤ በጽርሐ ጽዮንም ታያቸው፤

Priest:- They took Him down from the tree, wrapped Him in linen cloths, and buried Him in a new grave. He rose from the dead on the third day, and entered where His disciples were gathered and appeared to them in the upper room of Zion,

ይበል ካህን፦ የጥበብ አገርዋ ወዴት ነው ማደርያዋስ ወዴት ነው ቦታዋ ወዴት ነው የጐዳናዋስ ፍለጋ በወዴት ተገኘ። ባሕሩን ተሻግሮ በቀይ ወርቅ የገዛት ማነው፤ ከደመናትስ በላይ ወጥቶ ያወረዳት ማነው፤

“Prayer of Fraction”

Priest:- Where is the country of Wisdom, where is its abode, where is its province, and where can the trace of its way be found? Who crossed the sea and bought it for red gold; who ascended above the cloud and brought it down?

ይበል ካህን፦ መዋቲ ጐዳናዋን አያውቃትም፤ በሰውም ዘንድ የለችም። ከሰው ሁሉ ተዘነጋች፤ ከሰማይም አእዋፍ ሁሉ ተሠወረች፤ እርስዋን የገዙ ከእግዚአብሔር ጋራ ተወዳጁ፤ እርስዋን የሚጠሏት ሞትን ይወዳሉ፤ ከፀሐይ ይልቅ ታምራለች፤ በከዋክብትም አኗኗር።

​

Priest:- Mortal man does not know its way; it is not for mortal man. It is forgotten by all men, and it is hidden from all the birds of heaven. Those who possess it gain friendship with God, and those who hate it love death. It is more beautiful than the sun and all the concourse of stars.

ይበል ካህን፦ እርስዋ ቀዳሚት እንደ መሆንዋ ከብርሃን ጋራ ስትነጻጸር ትገኛለች። በእርጅና ሳለች ሁሉን ታድሳለች በየትውልዱም በጻድቃን ሰውነት ትፋለሳለች። ከከበረ ዕንቍ እርስዋ ትበልጣለች ክብርም ሁሉ መጠንዋ አይደለም፤

Priest:- It is compared with the Light because it was in the beginning. Though it is in the old, it renews all; and in every generation it enters into the souls of the righteous. It is better than rubies; and all honor is not to be compared to it.

ይበል ካህን፦ ምክር ዕውቀት አላት ጽንዕ አእምሮም አላት ነገሥታቱም በእርስዋ ይነግሣሉ፤ ኃያላንም በእርስዋ እውነትን ይጽፋሉ። ደጋጎቹ በእርስዋ ይከብራሉ መኳንንትም በእርስዋ ምድርን ይይዛሉ የሚወዷትን ትወዳለች ሕጓን የሚጠብቁትንም ትጠብቃለች፤ እርስዋንም የሚሹ ባለሟልነትን ያገኛሉ።

​

Priest:- It has counsel and power, strength and knowledge, by it kings reign, and the powerful decree justice. By it the great are honored, and by it the rulers take hold of the earth. It loves them that love it, it keeps them that keep it, and those that seek it find favor.

ይበል ካህን፦ በእውነት መንገዶች ትመላለሳለች፤ በእውነት ፍለጋም ትመላለሳለች፤ ለሚያውቋት ሰዎች ብዕልን ትሰጣቸው ዘንድ መዝገባቸውንም ተድላን ትመላ ዘንድ። ሁሉን የሚያውቅ እርሱ ያውቃታል። ሁሉን የሚረዳ እርሱ ጐዳናዋን አሳመረ።

Priest:- It walks in the way of righteousness and moves about in the path of righteousness to grant them that know its riches and to fill their treasuries with rejoicing. He who knoweth all knoweth it, and he who understandeth all beautifieth its way,

ይበል ካህን፦ እርሱ ለባለሟሉ ለያዕቆብ ለቅዱሱም ለእስራኤል ሰጠው። እርሱ ለባለሟሉ ለያዕቆብ ለቅዱሱም ለእስራኤል ሰጠው። ከዚህ በኋላ በምድር ላይ ታየች እንደ ሰውም ተመላለሰች። እነሆ ቤትን ሠራች ሰባት አዕማድን አቆመች፤

Priest:- He gave it to His servant Jacob and to His holy Israel. Afterwards it appeared on the earth and walked like man.

Behold she hat builded a house for herself and established seven pillars,

ይበል ካህን፦ የርስዋን እርድ አረደች በማድጋዋም የርስዋን ወይን ጨመረች የርስዋንም ማዕድ አዘጋጀች። ባሮችዋን ላከች፤ በረጅም ስብከት ሰነፍ የሆነ ሰው ወደ እኔ ይምጣ እያለች እውቀት ያነሳቸውንም ትጠራለች

Priest:- she hath killer her beasts and poured her wine in the bowl and furnished her table. She hat sent forth her servants ceaselessly proclaiming and saying: Whoso is simple let him turn in towards me: as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,

ይበል ካህን፦ ኑ የኔን ኅብስት ብሉ የኔንም ወይን ጠጡ ስንፍናንም ትታችሁ ኑሩ እያለች።

ጥበብ ግን መድኃኒታችን ነው በሥጋው መሥዋዕትነት ያዳነን፤ በደሙ ፈሳችነት የተወዳጀን ለመንግሥቱም የመረጠን ለዘላለሙ።

Priest:- Come, eat of my bread, and drink of my wine, forsake the foolish and live.

But wisdom is our Savoir who redeemed us with the sacrifice of His body, and bought us with the sprinkling of His blood, and chose us for His kingdom for ever.

ይበሉ ሕዝብ፦ ከማሁ በምድር። ሲሳየነ ዘለለ ዕለትነ ሀበነ ዮም። ኅድግ ለነ አበሳነ ወጌጋየነ ከመ ንሕነኒ ንኅድግ ለዘአበሰ ለነ። ኢታብአነ እግዚኦ ውስተ

እንዲሁም በምድር ይሁን! የዕለት እንጀራችንን ስጠን ዛሬ፣ በደላችንን ይቅር በለን፣ እኛም

is in heave; give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses

ይበሉ ሕዝብ፦ መንሱት አላ አድኅነነ ወባልሐነ እምኵሉ እኩይ እስመ ዚኣከ ይእቲ

የበደሉንን ይቅር እንደምንል፣ አቤቱ ወደ ፈተና አታግባን፣ ከክፉ ሁሉ አድነን እንጂ፣

People:- mensut ala adihinene webalihane imkwulu ikuy isme zee'ake yi'itee

as we forgive them that trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us and rescue us from all evil;

ይበሉ ሕዝብ፦ መንግሥት ኃይል ወስብሐት ለዓለመ ዓለም።

መንግሥት ያንተ ናትና። ኃይል፣ ምስጋና ለዘለዓለም በእውነት።

People:- mengist hayl wesibihat le'alem alem.

for Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory for ever and ever.

ይበሉ ሕዝብ፦ በከመ ምሕረትከ አምላክነ ወአኮ በከመ አበሳነ። (3 ጊዜ)

ፈጣሪያችን ሆይ እንደቸርነትህ ነው እንደ በደላችን አይደለም። (3 ጊዜ)

People:- Bekeme mihiretike amlakine we'ako bekeme abesane. (3 times )

According to Thy mercy, our God, and not according to our sins. (3 times )

ካህናትና ሕዝቡ እየተቀባበሉ እንዲህ ይበሉ፦

ሠራዊተ መላእክቲሁ ለመድኃኔ ዓለም ይቀውሙ ቅድሜሁ ለመድኃኔ ዓለም።

የመድኃኔ ዓለም አገልጋዮች የሚሆኑ የመላእክት ሠራዊት በመድኃኔ ዓለም ፊት ይቆማሉ።

In succession, they shall all say:

Seraweete mela'ikteehu lemedihané alem yiqewimu qidméhu lemedihane alem;

The hosts of the angels of the Savior of the World, stand before the Savior of the world and encircle the Savior

ካህናትና ሕዝቡ እየተቀባበሉ እንዲህ ይበሉ፦

ወይኬልልዎ ለመድኃኔ ዓለም ሥጋሁ ወደሙ ለመድኃኔ ዓለም።

መድኃኔ ዓለምን ያመሰግኑታል የመድኃኔ ዓለም ሥጋውና ደሙ።

In succession, they shall all say:

Weyikéliliwo lemedihané alem sigahu wedemu lemedihané alem.

of the world even the body and blood of the Savior of the world

ካህናትና ሕዝቡ እየተቀባበሉ እንዲህ ይበሉ፦

ወንብጻሕ ቅድመ ገጹ ለመድኃኔ ዓለም በአሚነ ዚኣሁ ሐዋርያት ተለዉ ዐሠሮ::

ወደ መድኃኔ ዓለም ፊት እንቅረብ እርሱን በማመን ሐዋርያት ፍለጋውን ተከተሉ

In succession, they shall all say:

Wenibtsah qidme getsu lemedihané alem beameene zee-ahu hawariyat telewu asero.

Let us draw nigh the face of the Savior of the world. In the faith which is of Him the Apostles followed his steps.

ይበል ንፍቅ ዲያቆን፦ አርኅዉ ኆኃተ መኳንንት።

መኳንንት ደጆችን ክፈቱ።

ይበል ካህን፦ በግዕ ይምጣ በዓይናችን እንድናየው በእጃችንም እንድናርደው በእርሱ ደስ ይለን ዘንድ። ሥጋው ከዚህ ኅብስት ጋራ አንድ ይሁን ደሙም በዚህ ጽዋ ይቀዳ። ከኛ ወገን ላንዱ ይህን ኅብስት በሚበላበት ጊዜ ያለ ደምና ያለ መንፈስ ሥጋን ብቻ የሚበላ

​

Priest:- Let the Lamb come so that we may see Him with our eyes, slay Him with our hands and rejoice in Him. May His body be joined with this bread, and may His blood be poured into this cup. Let none of us think when He eats of this bread that He eats mere flesh without blood and Spirit.

ይበል ካህን፦ ይህንም ጽዋ በሚጠጣበት ጊዜ ከኛ ወገን ላንዱ ያለ ሥጋና ያለ መንፈስ ደምን ብቻ የሚጠጣ አይምሰለው። ሥጋናም ደም መንፈስም አንድ ናቸው እንጂ መለኮቱ ከትስብእቱ ጋራ አንድ እንደሆነ ለዘላለሙ።

Priest:- Let none of us think when He drinks of this cup that He drinks mere blood without body and Spirit, but one is the body, blood and Spirit as His divinity became one with His humanity, world without end.

ይበል ዲያቆን፦ ስገዱ ለእግዚአብሔር በፍርሃት።

በፍርሃት ሁናችሁ ለእግዚአብሔር ስገዱ።

Priest:- Lord our God, look upon Thy people that are penitent, and according

to Thy great mercy have mercy upon them, and according to the multitude of Thy compassion blot out their iniquity, cover them and keep them from all evil.

የቀደመ ሥራቸውን ይቅር ብለህ በሰላም ነፍሳቸውን አድን፤ ከቅድስት ቤተክርስቲያንህ አንድ አድርጋቸው፤ ተቀዳሚ ተከታይ በሌለው በአንድ ልጅህ በጌታችንና በአምላካችን በመድኃኒታችንም በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ

ይበል ካህን፦ ዘእንበለ ቱስሕት ወኢትድምርት ዘእንበለ ፍልጠት ወኢውላጤ ወኮነ ሰማዕተ በስምዕ ሠናይ በመዋዕለ ጲላጦስ ጰንጤናዊ ወመጠዎ በእንቲአነ ወበእንተ ሕይወተ ኵልነ።

ይህ እንደሆነ ያለመቀላቀልና ያለትድምርት ያለመለወጥና ያለመለየት ከመለኮቱ ጋራ አንድ ያደረገው በጴንጤናዊ ጲላጦስም ዘመን ባማረ ምስክርነት ምስክር የሆነ ሰለእኛና ስለሁላችንም ሕይወት አሳልፎ የሰጠው።

Priest:- And made it one with his godhead without mixture or confusion without diviion or alteration ;and he verily confessed with a good testimony in the days of Pontis Pilate, this body he gave up for our sakes and for the life of us all.

አምናለሁ አምናለሁ አምናለሁ መለኮቱ ከሰውነቱ አንዲት ሰዓት እንኳን እንደ ዓይን ቅጽበትስ ስንኳ እንዳልተለየም እታመናለሁ። ስለኛ ሰጠው እንጅ ለሕይወትና ለመድኃኒት ለኃጥያትም ማስረሥረያ ሊሆን አምነው ለሚቅበሉት ሰዎች ስለኛ አሳልፎ ሰጠው እንጅ።

ክብርና ምስጋና ስግደትም ቸር ከሚሆን ከሰማያዊ አባቱ ጋራ ማሕየዊ ከሚሆን ከመንፈ ቅዱስ ጋራ የሚገባው ይህ ነው። ዛሬም ዘወትርም ለዘላለሙ አሜን።

Priest:- As Thou didst join the body of Thy Son with our body, and Thou didst mix the blood of Thy Messiah with our blood, so put Thy fear in our heart and the beauty of Thy worship in our mind. We who are carnal, mind the things of the flesh and do the works of the flesh and walk in the way of the flesh.

ይበል ካህን፦ አንተ ግን የመንፈስን ሥራ አስተምረን፤ የመንፈስንም ሕግ አስረዳን፤ የምንፈስንም መንገድ ምራን። እኛን ኃጥአንን ብትምረን ያን ጊዜ መሐሪ ትባላለህና። ጻድቃንን ግን ከሥራቸው የተነሣ ትምራቸውለህ፤ እንደ ጽድቃቸውም ትሰጣቸዋለህ።

Priest:- But do Thou teach us the work of the Spirit and make us understand the law of the Spirit and lead us to the way of the Spirit. Because if Thou pity us, we sinners, then Thou wilt be called compassionate. Thou pitiest the righteous because of their works and dost recompense them according to their righteousness.
