Investors

These folks are wealthy adventurers of various stripes who want 2 hexes of your land to develop and call their own in exchange for some gold upfront for development and future taxes, as well as providing an end point for all those roads you’ll be building.

Sandralane of Rahadoum is a cleric of Sarenrae–a fact that makes her a criminal in her homeland. She has been open about building a temple for her patron goddess in the northlands

Alak Dool is a humourless Chelaxian wizard of some ill-repute. He is looking for a spot build his wizard’s tower.

Ser Ernest Daye is a Mendvian knight, Worldwound veteran crusader and paladin of Iomedae, looking to settle down in his late middle-age after years of service. He is considered a bit of a by-the-book boy scout by those who know him.

Longtooth is an old folk hero hailing from Varisia far to the west. Though he hasn’t come out and said it yet, most folks think he’s looking for a place to retire to.

Rutgar Dag is a tall, brash, Ulfen warrior looking to found a grand beer hall that he can throw parties in for all of his rowdy friends.

Max the First, is a Taldon nobleman and soldier looking to follow in the footsteps of his people and bring some civility to the north by founding his own domain there.

Allisa Patrician is a far-travelling, upbeat, Tian-La archer and adventurer with a strangely Taldan name. Founding a small domain seems like just another adventure to her.

Pavetta and Imeckus Stroon. Imeckus is a potent wizard feared by the court in Stoneclimb, the seat of House Medvyed. He recently tried to marry his spoiled younger sister, Pravetta off to Zokon in a deal with Zokon’s father, Lord Tengar Santyev.

Jewel is Lady Pavetta’s pampered lap dog.

Balthur Mistbreather is a merchant ambassador representing the secretive dwarven enclave of Glimmerhold. He can offer the nobles who take him up on his deals all the skills and dogged determination of dwarven craftsmen, soldiers, as well as the output of the mines of Glimmerhold.

Kozen represents the interests of a continent-wide consortium of lumber barons, merchants, miners, trappers, tradesmen, craftsmen, smiths, and teamsters, that reaches all across Avistan. Apparently they are in the middle of expanding into the north. He himself looks to be from Qadira the western-most Province of the Padishah Empire of Kelesh.

Mercantile

Interests

These men represent powerful business and banking interests in the region.

Archbanker Siguard Barasav of the church of Abadar has his finger on the pulse of the economies throughout the region. From Brevoy to Mendev and even down south into Mivon, Pitax, and some of the other more stable River Kingdoms. Loans, interest rates, and trade all fall under his church’s purview.

Minor Players

Matheus Castigan is a charming soldier in the employ of Lord Maegar Varn. He aided in putting down a kobold uprising in the Greenbelt shortly after the party had dealt with the Stag Lord.

??? - though if you had to guess it’s probably Igor. The chief servant of Ser Richard Iannuchi.

No one you really need concern yourself with.

Terrion Numesti (NOW pictured) Is one of Hannis Drelev’s band. He was at “Fort Drelev” when the party first encountered the Baron. He appears to be a soldier of some sort.

Religion

These religious leaders all have an interest in seeing their belief system flourish in the new colonies

Shepherd Ezvanki Keegh of the Church of Erastil is a down-home preacher full of folksy sermons about responsible traditional country living–the right and proper way to live.

Archbanker Siguard Barasav of the church of Abadar deals in efficiency, macro economies, cities, industry, infrastructure, trade and positive monetary outcomes–the big picture. Every coin is a blessing.

Mother Hellana Vorst the serious matron of the Temple of Pharasma. She watches over births, deaths and fates of those in-between. The church’s once-great penchant for prophecy has of course diminished since the beginning of the Age of Lost Omens a century ago.

Chaplain Gregorius Wagra is the brutal-looking, scarred cleric of Gorum that sits at the head of his church in the region. He is a staunch proponent of the dueling culture glorified in both Brevoy and Mivon.

Sandralane of Rahadoum has been open about building a temple to the Dawnflower, Sarenrae, in the north and using it to spread her goddess’s message of compassion, temperance and redemption.

Ser Earnest Daye, elder paladin of Iomedae has plans of training a new cadre of knights in his Lady’s creed of Honour, Justice and Valor and most of all–Fair-Play.

Politics

And of course everything comes down to this.

Charterholders

The other attending charterholders

Hannis Drelev holds the charter to the East Sellen and the Hooktongue Slough to the west of the party’s lands. Drelev is a mercenary adventurer hired to explore and clear the region by order of the Brevic government.

Lord Maegar Varn is an Aldori Swordlord and nobleman from a minor Brevic house given the Charter to the Tors of Levenies and Dunsward to the East of the party’s lands. He and his men came to the party’s aid during a kobold uprising in the Greenbelt.

Lord Mayor Ioseph Sellenius of Restov. As the Lord mayor of the largest city in the north Sellenius was in position to fund the exploration of the Stolen Land. With that more-or-less done more money is needed to cement Brevoy’s claim to the land in the face of monsters, brigands, and the lords of the River Kingdoms. Sellenius himself is a Rostlander and proponent for more autonomy from the Dragonscale Throne for the southern half of Brevoy, which of course makes all of his interest in the project a bit suspicious to those loyal to the Throne.

Ser Richard Iannuchi-Aldori. The leader of the Aldori Sword Pact in Brevoy and your host. In his role as the leader of the Swordlords he is seen as neutral in political struggles between his friend the Lord Mayor of Restov and the Dragonscale Throne. Even though the attending parties have arrived early for the division of the Stolen Land the man seem preoccupied with some estate-wide construction project. A master swordsman (arguably the best in Brevoy), he runs a prestigious school for duelists on the grounds of his country estate.

Lord Solvis Orlovsky of House Orlovsky hails from their mountain stronghold of Eagle’s Watch in north-central Brevoy. True to their House motto “High Above” he has only really ever had time to speak to Zokon, and then only curtly. Solvis a royalist is considered a moderate at the royal court in New Stetven. He and Samuel Renault seem to have some sort of history making them antagonistic toward one another.

Samuel Renault is noble from Brevoy who fled the politics of that land to farm in the Stolen Land. Other non-noble farmers attracted to the idea of farming their own lands have followed him and now he leads a peasant farming co-op in the lands north of the Narlmarches. Samuel see the exploration and eventual exploitation of the Greenbelt and Narlmarches as just more of the political games he left court to avoid. He seems to be at the summit to fight for his and his community’s independence from Brevic rule.

He and Solvis Orlovsky seem to have a spikey history.

Noah Medwyn “Mr. He-Who-Is-Not-Appearing-In-This-Film” is considered a powerful druid in the region so much so that the Brevic government apparently puts up with the strange taciturn man and consults with him on issues of the environment.
