If you need clarification, ask questions. Follow instructions and use all time well, working towards a finished product. Use peer collaboration for brainstorming, but complete work independently.
Alarm will warn that the end of class is approaching. Put materials away. Wash anything that needs it. Check board for homework. Take work home if needed.
CLASS EXPECTATIONS:
Respect Self, Others, and School.
THIS IS AN ART CLASS,
that also includes DIGITAL ART.
Before we jump into digital, we will first build an art foundation.
We will be writing, discussing, and critically analyzing artwork. We will be looking at culture, environment, history, math, science, and more using art as a platform. We will be creating, problem solving, taking risks, expressing ourselves and building resiliency. Because of the journey, we will make some really cool ART.
Computers, programs, and traditional art supplies will be provided and utilized. When creating, students will have a space to store any additional supplies they would like to individually use.
Your student will be responsible for due dates and deadlines using our classroom calendar on the board, and their planner / sketchbook calendar. You may access my blog to see what we are doing in class! tinyurl.com/tmsartblog
