The Basics
Who? You, and as many friends and family as you can convince
What? 107 km of beautiful riding
When? Sunday, September 13th - 9:30 am
Where? Starting in Rosebud (about one and a half hour drive), the route goes through Drumheller, south to highway 564 and back to Rosebud. See map below.
Why? Because you love riding your bike. Is there any other reason?
How? Donate $50.00 to Shelter Box Canada and ride the Gypsy 107. Search for The Gypsy 107 Team
Questions you will probably ask
What do I get for my donation?
Nothing. No t-shirt, no water bottle, no belt buckle or socks. No Gu, Hammer or gels of any kind. There are no aide stations, support vehicles or cheering crowds of adoring fans. You get zilch, nothing, nada.. only SATISFACTION
Where is the waiver?
There is no waiver. As far as everyone is concerned, this is just a bunch of friends going for a ride. No one is responsible for you, other than you. If you run over fluffy or crash and break your $300 carbon fibre water bottle cage you’re on your own.
Are there any timing chips or officials to keep time?
No. Leave whenever you want. Go as fast as you want. Keep time if you want. Gypsy doesn't care as long as you cough up fifty bucks for Shelter Box Canada. Hopefully everyone will be on the road by 10:00am
Can I donate at the start?
No. Donate online. No money will change hands unless you are trying to skip out on your beer tab.
