In lesson 3.03 you learned about different types of digital media that you can add to writing to enhance written words. Now, it’s your turn to apply what you’ve learned. Follow all 5 steps below to complete each slide of the assignment.

Step 4: Imagine you are creating a website titled “Environmental Heroes: Everyone Can Be One.” Think about what digital media you could include to highlight the ways that the organization you researched is a hero for the environment. View the example media and reflections below.

Write 2-3 sentences explaining how your two examples of digital media support your central idea and enhance the audience’s experience.

My first example of digital media is a happy picture of a panda. This supports the central idea of my paragraph because the World Wildlife Fund wants to save this endangered species. The picture of the panda will make the audience want to help too.

My second example of digital media is a chart showing the population change in Pandas. This supports the central idea of my paragraph because the World Wildlife Fund wants to help increase the population. The audience will see the population decreasing over time in this chart.

Step 5: Find TWO different forms of digital media that could be used to promote the organization you researched. Suggested types of digital media could be: picture, graph, map, chart, video, or podcast that can highlights the ways the organization you researched is a hero for the environment.
