What is it?

Why include one?

Start with a CAREER OBJECTIVE

  • A career objective aligns your skills with your employment goals in a one or two sentence statement at the top of your resumé
  • A career objective shows your employer why you’re applying for the position and how it would be beneficial for them to hire you

Education

You’re a professional student. You have a lot of educational experience. Prepare a more detailed education section

Include:

  • Academic and non-academic educational experiences
  • Good GPA? Include it!
  • Any/all extracurricular activities, such as sports & clubs; these show that you are a well-rounded individual.
  • Special projects

OPTIONAL:

Interests

Include a quick mention of your interests at the conclusion of your resumé to paint a bigger picture of who you are.

Keep this short, just one line!

  • Do you like to play games, go for walks, or play a sport outside of school not mentioned above?
  • What about reading, cooking, baking, photography, video editing, & spending time with family a/o friends?
