Career-Technical Assurance Guides (CTAGs)
Special Considerations:
Student Eligibility Criteria:
High school course is an approved CTAN through CEMS and CTE-26 and student meets requirements for credit
Postsecondary institution offers similar program with a direct course equivalent.
Postsecondary institution offers similar program but has no direct course equivalencies.
Postsecondary institution doesn’t offer a similar course or program.
Postsecondary institution decides if and how credit could be applied.
Postsecondary institution is encouraged to award the student credit that applies towards degree requirements.
Course Approved - Postsecondary institution must award the student credit for the direct course equivalency.
Course NOT Approved - Postsecondary institution should award the student credit towards degree requirements and comparable course credit is encouraged.
