NOTE: The total district membership as of July 1, 2022, is not available on the Zone Website yet. Keep checking, once the numbers have been released you can update this slide. This is a comparison of our district membership downward trend and the membership trends of the club you are visiting. Some clubs are following the district trend and some are increasing and doing well. Be sure to acknowledge the clubs who are doing well and mention the impacts of continued membership loss. We can talk about this in our G-Line meeting. Both numbers have not been updated on the Zone site yet. Keep in mind to check the Zone site for updates as you continue with your visits, the site changes every few months.

The District Membership Trends are on the Zone 26 & 27 Website – which has been revamped, The site is zone2627.org From the home page click on Resources, then click on View Membership, then click on Multi Year Membership Report, activate the bottom scroll until you see the 5440 tab. Individual club membership numbers are found on the RI Website. Click on Rotary Foundation, then click on Foundation Reports, scroll down until you see District Reports, Club and Members in Your District and click on view list. I just export all the club reports into excel. Again, you’ll need to keep this data current and remember that RI is sometimes slow in updating the numbers

Governor’s Citation 2022-2023

The criteria for this citation complement the focus and goals as determined by Rotary International President Jennifer Jones. I encourage all clubs to strive to obtain both the Governor’s Citation and the Presidential Citation.

Our goals for 2022-2023 include aligning with Rotary's Strategic Priorities and Objectives, Increasing Our Impact, Expanding Our Reach, Enhancing Participant Engagement and Increasing Our Ability to Adapt, as well as strengthening our support of the Rotary Foundation and developing future Rotary leaders.

Obtaining this award will help create an active, engaged club of Rotarians doing good in the community and around the world.

Submit your application for the Governor’s Citation to Kellie Kegerreis, District Admin by May 1, 2023

Club President or Membership Chair meet with new members every 3-4 months to ask if expectations are being met and whether they feel included in club activities
