Congratulations…

to Amanda Simiriglio on receiving the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union Excellence in Teaching Award!

Amanda Simiriglio will be recognized at the annual FMFCU Foundation Celebration on Thursday, April 25, 2024.
The award recipient will receive a commemorative plaque and $1,000 towards educational expenses, and an additional $1,000 will be awarded to her school, Walnut Street Elementary.

to the Penn Wood High School inaugural

Girls Flag Football Team!

A new era in Penn Wood High School athletics began on March 19, 2024 as the girl’s flag football team defeated Coatesville 18 - 12 at the Rap Curry Athletic Complex Kerr Field.

This is the inaugural season for the team as they are competing in the Philadelphia Eagles High School Girls Flag Football League.

On Saturday, March 16, the team was invited to visit Lincoln Financial Field, being recognized as one of the league's newest teams.

* Who will participate in the Keystone Exams?

Students should take the Keystone Exams at or near the end of a Keystone-related course. The students’ results are banked until their junior year for accountability purposes and until their senior year for graduation purposes. Some students who previously completed a Keystone-related course but did not take the Keystone Exam will also participate for accountability purposes. All students who take a Keystone Exam may re-take the exam.
