Introduction

  • Meetings will occur on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the summer until the start of school (September 7th)
  • On Saturdays, we will focus on English while on Sundays we will focus on Math.
  • We will be using SAT practice from FREE online resources (e.g. Khan Academy) with the guided help of our certified tutors
    • We will pick out questions from resources based on the subject of the day to create short and efficient practice assessments

Regular Meeting Structure

  • Classes will span for approximately 1-2 hours
  • Every Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 PM.
  • Common Zoom meeting link → individual breakout rooms for assigned tutors and students
  • Join main meeting for attendance, then split into breakout rooms with your assigned tutor/tutee
  • ​

Note: All meetings will be recorded by tutors for quality assurance purposes.

  • Classes will start by utilizing short practice tests/sections distributed to tutors beforehand. Tutors will work alongside tutees to assess problems and difficulties
  • There will also be biweekly examinations in which students will independently take full-length practice tests and record their scores

  • In order to ensure that the experience of each an every individual in our program is best, we have a feedback form on our website, and in our weekly reminder emails.
  • Tutors and students will both be able to express concerns discreetly and confidentially
