  • Logging Into Your Device
    • Chromebook: Sign in using your Gmail credentials for the Chromebook using your ID for the password or password you have selected previously.
    • Windows/Mac: Sign in using ID/ID on Windows and Macs until your password is changed in ClassLink at the beginning of the school year.

  • Launching ClassLink in Chrome
    • Open Google Chrome if it doesn’t launch automatically.
    • Select the tab labeled Login for ClassLink.
    • Sign in with your AD credentials (email username and password)
    • Click on aqua sign in button
    • **If a ClassLink tab is unavailable, every school homepage will have a link to ClassLink for access from anywhere.

  • Connecting to Google/Adjusting My Profile
    • Your profile is where you can access your profile icon, themes & colors, password locker, and sign-in options.
    • Select the profile (your account) icon in the upper right hand corner
    • Scroll down to click Next
    • Add your AD credentials (ID/ID until you change your password)
    • Select Login
    • Close the Success window
    • Close your My Profile window

  • Changing Your Password
    • From the profile icon in the upper right hand corner.
    • Click on Settings
    • Select Recovery from the top menu
    • Click on the blue Reset Password button near bottom
    • Enter your “old password” (ID)
    • Create and enter a “New Password”
    • Enter new password again to confirm it.
    • Click Save to save your change.

  • Access Your Apps
    • Select your app of interest
    • If it doesn’t log you in automatically, you will be prompted to enter your username and password for that specific app.
    • Enter your username and password and click Save. ClassLink will remember that for the next time in your Password Locker.
    • If your password needs to be changed/updated for a specific application, right click an app and choose Update Password. This is only for applications using the Password Locker.
    • If an install ClassLink extension dialogue box comes up, click on install extension and follow the prompts. This will most likely appear the first time you use your home computer or new browser.

  • Using the KUSD App Library
    • Click on the + on the top left of the My Apps screen
    • Click Add on any app from the KUSD Library to place it on your My Apps screen.

  • Logging into ClassLink in the Future
    • When working within the district, future logins to ClassLink will only require that you click on the blue button that says Sign-in with Google. No credentials will be needed.
    • When working outside of the district network login with current username and password.

  • Ending your session with ClassLink
    • To protect your accounts, always remember to sign out of ClassLink through the profile icon and then log out of the computer.
