If a student has a wireless communication device (cell phone, smart watch, tablet) it must be powered off/silent and in his/her bookbag.

Wireless communication devies are not permitted in NC Public Schools for student use.

Wireless Policy

Administrators can give special permission for wireless device use for health reasons or assistive technology.

Warning and parent contact, phone held until end of day.

Student conference, parent contact, and phone held in office for parent/guardian pick-up.

Office referral and parent/guardian

contact; device confiscated. Parent/legal guardian must pick up the device from office.
