December 10, 2023 (Week 56 of church formation)
Lord’s Day Worship
Today, enjoy a deep relationship with God. That is how we rest.
Without it, you are just practicing religion, which Jesus came to denounce.

Worthy of It All
Worthy of It All
It Is Well
Grander earth has quaked before
Moved by the sound of His voice
And seas that are shaken and stirred
Can be calmed and broken for my regard
It Is Well
And through it all, through it all
My eyes are on You
And through it all, through it all
It is well
It Is Well
And through it all, through it all
My eyes are on You
And it is well, with me
It Is Well
Far be it from me to not believe
Even when my eyes can't see
And this mountain that's in front of me
Will be thrown into the midst of the sea
It Is Well
And through it all, through it all
My eyes are on You
And through it all, through it all
It is well
It Is Well
And through it all, through it all
My eyes are on You
And it is well, it is well
It Is Well
So let go my soul and trust in Him
The waves and wind still know His name
It Is Well
So let go my soul and trust in Him
The waves and wind still know His name
It Is Well
So let go my soul and trust in Him
The waves and wind still know His name
The waves and wind still know His name
It Is Well
And it is well, With my soul
It is well, With my soul
It is well, With my soul
It is well, it is well with my soul
It Is Well
And it is well, With my soul
It is well, With my soul
It is well, With my soul
It Is Well
It is well, it is well with my soul
It is well, it is well with my soul
It is well, it is well with my soul
It Is Well
And through it all, through it all
My eyes are on You
And through it all, through it all
It is well
It Is Well
And through it all, through it all
My eyes are on You
And it is well, with me

Prayer
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father in heaven, may Your name be kept holy. May Your Kingdom come soon. May Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us today the food we need, and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. And don't let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one.For the Kingdom and all the power and glory belong to You forever and ever. Amen.

1In those days John the Baptist came to the Judean wilderness and began preaching. His message was, 2"Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near."
Matthew 3:1-12 (NLT)
3The prophet Isaiah was speaking about John when he said, "He is a voice shouting in the wilderness, 'Prepare the way for the LORD's coming! Clear the road for him!'" 4John's clothes were woven from coarse camel hair, and he wore a leather belt around his waist. For food he ate locusts and wild honey.
Matthew 3:1-12 (NLT)
5People from Jerusalem and from all of Judea and all over the Jordan Valley went out to see and hear John. 6And when they confessed their sins, he baptized them in the Jordan River.
Matthew 3:1-12 (NLT)
7But when he saw many Pharisees and Sadducees coming to watch him baptize, he denounced them. "You brood of snakes!" he exclaimed. "Who warned you to flee God's coming wrath? 8Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God.
Matthew 3:1-12 (NLT)
9Don't just say to each other, 'We're safe, for we are descendants of Abraham.' That means nothing, for I tell you, God can create children of Abraham from these very stones.
Matthew 3:1-12 (NLT)
10Even now the ax of God's judgment is poised, ready to sever the roots of the trees. Yes, every tree that does not produce good fruit will be chopped down and thrown into the fire.
Matthew 3:1-12 (NLT)
11"I baptize with water those who repent of their sins and turn to God. But someone is coming soon who is greater than I am—so much greater that I'm not worthy even to be his slave and carry his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.
Matthew 3:1-12 (NLT)
12He is ready to separate the chaff from the wheat with his winnowing fork. Then he will clean up the threshing area, gathering the wheat into his barn but burning the chaff with never-ending fire."
