- Go to the internet browser of your choice (I prefer Google Chrome).
- Type drive.google.com into the omnibox.
- Next, you might need to sign in.
- Then you should see your drive home!
Creating a Doc Within Drive
Moving a Doc into a Folder
- Click the “New” button in the left hand column
- Select “New Folder...”
- Title the Folder
- Select “Create”
- Right click the folder you want to change
- Select “Change Color...”
- Identify the Color you’d like from the pallet and click it
- Right click the folder you want to share
- Select the “Share...”
- Type the email of the person you’d like to share with
- Select the Sharing permission
- Select “Done”
- Click the “New” button in the left hand column
- Select “Google Docs”
- The Doc Automatically opens in a new window
- Be sure to name it!
- Right click the Doc you want to move into a Folder
- Select “Move to…”
- Choose the Folder you want from the drop-down menu
- Select the “Move” button
