PROBLEM DEFINITION & MOTIVATION
It's becoming harder for families to coordinate and manage household tasks and daily routines. Busy lives mean that chores and other reminders are shared through text messages, phone calls, and chats all being used. This makes it easy for details to be missed resulting in missed tasks and regular miscommunications. The results of this over time can result in inefficiency and frustration. The solution for this situation is a single centralized and transparent platform; one which brings together task management, communication and scheduling in one clear, easy to use solution which all members of the family can trust.

SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE
Three-tier modular architecture: system split into three layers for clarity and scalability.
Frontend: React + Vite (responsive UI): Provides a fast, responsive, user-friendly interface.
Backend: Spring Boot (auth, workflows, WebSockets): Handles authentication, task workflows, and real-time messaging.
Database: PostgreSQL with JPA: stores and manages all system data efficiently.
UML DIAGRAMS: Visualize system structure and user interactions
