Evaluating The History & Evidence of Shincheonji’s Fulfillments
September 2023
For most Shincheonji members looking at materials online is the same as inviting the devil. Many have even signed an oath never to eat from the “Tree of the knowledge of Good & Evil”, aka the internet. Without even reading, it’s been determined that all the information outside are lies and slanderous; and why wouldn’t it be If Shincheonji has the truth? But I hope that this might help whoever is willing to discern and whoever is willing to love truth, that they may be courageous within God.
I’ve spent years thoroughly studying and examining the doctrines of Shincheonji firsthand. Wanting to be “sealed” and serve God with full faith, I continuously studied and spoke to many members, lecturers and church leaders to understand what is taught. Shincheonji claims that ”the standard is the word & everything else is Satan’s poison”. But can truth be found in a place that thrives on ignorance? Did the disciples teach believers to avoid disagreements and arguments? Is the word of God independent of reality? Are we not victims of our own arrogance if we willingly close our eyes to the evidence that is given to us?
Proverbs 18:15-17 An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge…The one who states his case first seems right, until the other comes and examines him.
Prologue
LUKE 1 :1-4
Many have undertaken to draw up an account of the things that have been fulfilled among us, just as they were handed down to us by those who from the first were eyewitnesses and servants of the word. With this in mind, since I myself have carefully investigated everything from the beginning, I too decided to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus,
so that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught.
Acts 1:2-3
I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen. After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.
Testing the Witness- The Testimony of Lee Man Hee
"In the path of learning where the author embarked on a quest to find the God of heaven, the direct revelations and understandings of God's word (John 6:45) seen and heard were written in this book, <Saints and Heaven>. It is conveyed to all brothers and sisters in the form of a letter.” (Lee Man-Hee, 「Saints and Heaven <성도와 천국>」, p. 1)
(def.) Witness:
The Promise Pastor who “says and does” only what the spirit tells him. Are his written the words from “heaven” or commentaries that he claims are poison to our spirits? – Saying “they were mistranslated” or “he is only human” when it’s convenient are excuses that undermines the Bible & God – isn’t he the tested white stone (Rev 2)? Then let’s put him to the test.

3 Versions of Photo Manipulation
1. Man photoshopped out in one version.2. Window misaligned after photoshopping 3. Stars haphazardly placed onto the cantilevered roof (the horizontal roof that juts out above the front entrance). The star is placed unusually to covers the cross.6. Stars look like they’ve been distorted. Compared to the the other ornaments (Church Sign, cross) which look even and well made.
Falsified Evidence- Photoshopping of 7 stars
The windows are shattered on the second floor (1994 & 1995 version) as it was taken during the demolition of the church building. Some members may consider that the stars might have been added in the latter years, which is why it didn’t appear in other photos. However, in more recent textbooks (e.g. 2017 edition), a new image suddenly appeared with pristine windows. Except it is the same image that’s been doctored to make it seem like the 7 stars have always been there. -> Notice the image is taken with the exact same angle, height, shadow casted by the star and the cantilever. Only the wall seems to appear cleaner, the image hue has been changed and the windows miraculously fixed.
Falsified Evidence- Photoshopping of 7 stars
Falsified Evidence- Photoshopping of 7 stars
Q1. When was the broken window edition taken?
->1979-1980
Q2. And why were the windows broken?
-> Demolition for the construction of Seoul Land, local government project to beautify and attract tourism (open 1984)
Why would it be necessary for someone to falsify images unless the intention was not to simply present facts but to convince people of an alternate reality. The 7 stars were never on the building it was created to persuade & sensationalize that this is place as the location of Revelation’s fulfillment.
The Main Tabernacle Temple church (Makgye-ri)
Plans to demolish this church was publicly made known and long preceded the SEC. What motive can a person have to infiltrate a church that will soon be torn down?
What profits or benefits are there to takeover the TT when it would soon be demolished and has been falling apart & losing members due to endless scandals and lawsuits (more on this later).
It’s illogical to think that someone motivated by power or greed to not instead takeover a thriving church. Or perhaps make use of their “political ties with soon-to-be President Chun” to gain the favor from local officials or even local church authorities to expand their Church.

Q. Are these the 7 messengers sent to prepare the way for Jesus’ 2nd coming? Were they ever anointed and trained By the Holy Spirit?
Let’s examine what these 7 messengers taught from the beginning and what the members (including Lee Man Hee) of the Tabernacle Temple believed in and practiced to confirm if these 7 individual could even be considered average Christians, let alone be the brightest (having the highest wisdom and righteousness) out of Christianity since Jesus left (time of darkness).

4] The fulfillment of the Abomination of Destruction “The Beast”
As recorded in Ezekiel 16: 4-5, Mat 24 : 15 - referring to Kim Jong-kyu, the founder of the Hosaeng Prayer Center
“The reason why the evil one appeared in this way was because of the work of Satan, so that he would not be saved when he came to the point of destruction by deception of all powers, signs, and false miracles (2 Thessalonians 1:9,10). Therefore, you should not believe that it is a spirit, and you must have the wisdom to discern whether it is a spirit of truth or a spirit of delusion (Jn 1:4~6)”
--- This is why all of the initial members 20~40 were former members of Hosaeng Prayer Center.

(other accounts also mentioned the end being: Oct or Nov 1969, I’ll explain why Sept 14 is the most reliable).
Officially founding day is March 14, 1966, and they claim that 1260 days later, after the believers enter the Shelter built in the Valley of Mt. Cheonggye, the world will become a sea of fire.
Mar 14 1966 + 3.5 years= sept 14, 1969 . Afterwards, they will come out and become shincheonji (Rev 21) and the believers will become kings and rule each town.

Kicking out Father Yoo In-Gu
“My revelation and my father's revelation were the same before, but seeing that they are not the same now, there is no doubt that my father is receiving Satan's revelation." In other words, he expelled even his father, saying that he was possessed by an evil spirit”
Shincheonji’s Fulfillment:
Mr. Shin (Moses) kicked out Father Yoo due to jealousy that he wasn’t appointed as one of the 7 ”angels” even though he is more senior.
=> Yet Mr. Shin was in fact one of the 7 angels (wore a silver badge), and it was Yoo Jae Yeol and his faction who expelled his father (Not seen as an angel but King Immanuel) due to conflict.

Evidence of Arrest:
The Yeong Deungpo branch of the Seoul District Prosecutor’s Office arrested four people, Yoo Jae-Yeol (26), Kim Chang-do (41), the deacon, and the leader’s secretary, on charges of violating the Punishment Act such as fraud, ghosting, and violence, as well as making false accusations.
According to prosecution: “Yoo created a pseudo-religious group, gathered about 2,000 believers and moved them together, built a tented church building and a luxury house of its own with the donations and efforts of the believers, and while building a branch church, not only hijacked the believers' houses, farms, and rice fields by mortgaging them, but also robbed the believers' factories and forcibly abused female members. Even before Yoo Jae-Yeol's arrest, the Temple of the Tabernacle was already hastening its decline. “ – Fig. (page 25)

Recently, a religious organization called "대한기독교장막성전교회" (Tabernacle Temple Church of Korea), led by its leader 유재열 (Yoo Jae-yeol), has been engaging in distorted preaching and proselytizing activities, associating biblical doctrines with ritualistic beliefs. They have been using various fraudulent methods to take away the possessions of believers and engaging in deforestation around their church areas. Some members have reported to the police that the church is a cult involved in adultery and sexual assault.
This religious group was founded in 1966 by 유 (Yoo) and his father 유인구 (Yoo In-gu), and they refer to their leader 유 (Yoo) as "군왕" (King). They gather over 2,000 followers and have established their church on the midsection of Cheonggyesan Mountain, relocating the group to the area, occupying 800 square meters of land for their "성전" (church), and building lavish houses for 유 (Yoo) with the funds collected from believers. 유 (Yoo) is said to indulge in pleasures such as luxury cars and entertainment, using the funds contributed by the followers.
Former members, like 崔 (Choi) and others, exposed the exploitative practices of the church. For example, 崔 (Choi) provided his house as collateral to help build the church's bell tower. However, 유 (Yoo) misused the funds and left the house to be auctioned off, causing significant financial losses. Similarly, 洪 (Hong) operated a factory near the Tabernacle Temple but was coerced by 유 (Yoo) and his assistant 林 (Lim) to hand over the factory to the church. When he refused, they threatened to ruin the factory.
In addition to financial exploitation, 유 (Yoo) reportedly engaged in sexual misconduct with female members, forcing them to endure verbal abuse and assault. Former church officer 김 (Kim) witnessed these actions and spoke out against 유 (Yoo). He also revealed that 유 (Yoo) deforested a significant number of trees illegally and misused the church funds for personal pleasures.
Despite such allegations, the authorities explained that religious freedom is constitutionally protected, and unless these activities disrupt public order or violate laws, the police cannot intervene directly. Experts suggest that to regulate such cult-like organizations engaged in anti-social activities, there should be some form of registration or regulation of religious groups, as done in the United States and Japan, where laws are in place to regulate the missionary activities of similar organizations.

In the article, we see a list of members who were extorted by the church leaders. Including one of Shincheonji’s founder & one of the “witnesses” (Rev 11), Hong Jong-Ho had his vinyl factory taken over through violence
Downfall of The TT (Evidence Lee Man Hee’s Involvement 1971)
Published 1987
<Prosecution Office’s Response to Lee Man Hee’s lawsuit filing evaluated on 1971.2.2>
Lee Man Hee teaches that the Spiritual death of the TT’s members came from accepting lies and false doctrines of the “destroyers”. And the proof is God’s judgement through destruction of the Betrayer’s organization (just like with Israel through Babylon in the Old testament). However, the tabernacle temple was already “dead on arrival” with their false claims and prophecies. And being destroyed from the inside with the help of Lee Man Hee & other aggrieved members.
Didn’t Lee leave because he found out about the apostasy within the church from a local article? Didn’t he claim that Mr. Yoo sent assassins after him in 1971? So with his life on the line he decided to sue the Messengers of God over some fraud charges rather than attempted murder?
What’s left for the ”group of destruction” to do, if they only ”enter in 1980 during President Chun’s reign”? Whose spirit is left to be poisoned or killed? Would someone who’s greedy for power & money want a church that’s falling apart from litigations and have such high liabilities? Why would someone use Yoo Jae Yeol to gain favor from the congregation members, when YJY himself was put into prison by his own followers in 1975?

Downfall of The TT (Evidence of demolition 1979-1980)
<서울도시계획이야기 1995, The Story of Seoul Urban Planning Vol. 1 (1995) :Records of tabernacle temple’s demolition and resistance by residents in 1979-1980>
A third party account of the “The Story of Seoul Urban Planning”. The author Son Jeong-mok worked as a public official in the 1970s as a member of the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Planning Management Group, Urban Planning Bureau, and Home Affairs Director. In the book he recalls the resistance by members living in the Tabernacle Temple during the demolition. Other accounts also supports and sites that the condition of the Tabernacle was poor during this time. Where the second floor windows were broken and boarded up with cardboard.
Personal note: Likely, because many members were left poor and homeless after being defrauded of their assets.

Did Yoo Jae Yeol flee to the wilderness?
According to SCJ
Mr. Yoo/Samson (the woman- Rev 12) temporarily fled from the TT to get a master’s degree at Westminster Seminary School in America.
This is to be the Fulfillment of:1) The wilderness prepared by God Rev 12- a place without the truth/”spiritual food & water”.
2) Samson & The Mill Jdgs13, ”condemned labor, grinding out grain” like Samson – a place that produces doctrines/commentaries.
3) Dragon vs. The woman-- Pressured by the SEC & Mr. Oh (Group of the Dragon) to be deemed a cult, they persuaded him to get a seminary degree and become a legally ordained minister.
=> Many theological issues with this interpretation, but since in SCJ it’s believed that any other interpretations are lies from the Devil, we’ll only evaluate SCJ’s fulfillment claims.
Did Yoo Jae Yeol flee to the Wilderness?
Actual Event
Would God allow his chosen messenger/witness, through whom all mankind receives salvation from by discerning the correct testimony of Revelation and the interpretation of scriptures, to testify falsely? WHAT??
What was Yoo Jae Yeol fleeing from when no one was chasing him? How could he flee to a spiritual wilderness if he was already in a spiritual wilderness with all his false prophecies and lies. Did Spiritual Samson not “mill” those grains then?
Lee man hee simply testified to “whatever he thought he saw and heard”. Isn’t he supposed to be testifying the words coming from the Spirit of Truth? Doesn’t he claim that he does nothing except for what the spirit tells him to say or do like Jesus at the first coming?
<Letter from Westminster Seminary>TN: Jae Yeol Ryu translates to Yoo (유) Jae Yeol.
柳, the character for his last name can be phonetically both Ryu or Yoo in Korean. In Korean wikipedia his name shows up as 류재열(柳在烈), or Ryu Jae-Yeol. https://ko.wikipedia.org/wiki/%EC%9E%A5%EB%A7%89%EC%84%B1%EC%A0%84

Verified Historical Timeline |
COMPARING TIMELINES (SCJ VS VERIFIED HISTORY): DESTRUCTION
Who is Mr. Oh (Oh Pyeong Ho)?
We’ll Evaluate Shincheonji’s Claims:
1. Yoo jae yeol (26) and Oh Pyeong Ho (45) met at a coffee shop in 1975
2. Mr Oh was ordained at the Catholic Jesus Passion Society and lived a religious life. He converted from being Catholic priest to a Christian pastor in 1968 (some trainings mentioned 1960s or early 1970s), entered the Seoul Presbyterian Seminary in 1969, completed the ecumenical course at Yonsei University's Yonsei University Graduate School of Theology, and was ordained a minister at the Presbyterian Church Independent Church. After receiving the, he stayed in West Germany where his brothers were staying and came back, from 1971 onwards he became aware of the tabernacle temple. In 1975, he met Yoo Jae-yeol at Seoul Station and entered the tabernacle. Shincheonji's "Shincheonji Development History" records the following about Oh Pyeong-ho.
“Pastor Oh Pyeong-ho met Yoo Jae-yeol at Seoul Station in 1975 and entered the tabernacle temple.”
3. The intention to takeover the TT (devour and destroy)--- similar to “Nicolas” in the bible who was a gentile who converted into a jew who converted into Christianity and later on betrayed through the corruption and false teachings of the Nicolaitans.
< SCJ’s Fulfillment Training>
Who is Mr. Oh (Oh Pyeong Ho)?
Reality…
In prison for 2 years and 6 months and 4 years probation.
< SCJ’s Fulfillment Training>
1. The SEC was established in 1980 by Mr. Tak. Appointed by President Chun who enacted a “cult/heresy cleansing movement” to expand his control over the populace. (On Sept 14th, they entered the TT to the raise 10 horns and renamed the church to “Isaac Church”).
Things to consider
1. Did President Chun execute a cult cleansing movement?
2. Was the SEC a government organization? Did they receive orders from the government / President Chun?
3. Was the movement and organization implemented in 1980 prior to Sept 1980 when the 10 horns of the SEC were appointed?

President Chun Doo-Hwan 전두환
President Chun became the acting President on Aug 27, 1980 after President Choi was forced to resign. In October, he made changes to establish a new constitution to establish his official inauguration to presidency on May 3 1981 (5th republic of Korea). In addition, President Chun was a practicing Roman Catholic who later converted to Buddhism after feeling disgraced from his wrongdoings as the former president.
According to Shincheonji
The Acting President Chun would’ve had to enacted a Cult Cleansing movement and established the SEC in less than a few weeks and worked with Mr. Oh to not only take over the TT (amongst other cults that existed at this time) but also planned to kick Mr. Yoo out all by Sept & Oct 1980.
In actuality, Chun Doo-Hwan did conduct a cleansing movement. But it wasn’t a “cult cleansing” but a “social cleansing- the Samchung Re-education” to suppress political revolt and social deviances [more details ref. Destruction Timeline]. Victims caught up in this movement didn’t just sit and study Presbyterian doctrines, but they were imprisoned, tortured, beaten and killed in “concentration camps” for the sake of controlling revolt and social reform.
President Chun Doo-Hwan 전두환
Q1. Did or Could president Chun have implemented a cult cleansing movement?
1. Given that President Chun was despised as a criminal and that he was openly Catholic, would President Chun order a specifically Christian-based cult cleansing to indoctrinate people into Presbyterianism? With all his crimes, there is not a single record of cult cleansing or religious suppression.
2. Given that “religious freedom is constitutionally protected” [fig. Pg 24] and the amount of time needed to formally execute such a large scale and unconstitutional movement, it is seem unlikely that they would be capable of assembling an institution for reeducating all pastors of Korea in the weeks between Chun’s Presidency & the SEC entering the tabernacle (Aug 27 – Sept 14, 1980).
3. In the early 1980s, many whom the government deemed as rebels or ill to society were arrested without warrant and sent to Samchung Re-education. If there were any intent of controlling religions, there would’ve been no need to use any form of strategy to send Mr. Yoo to America in order to takeover the TT. They could have simply arrested Mr. Yoo and any congregation that opposed the SEC.
4. It is also questionable why there are no records of any other cults who have been purged or re-educated by the SEC, which many were far more prominent and destructive (Unification church, Olive tree movement, WMSCOG). And if the aim was to control the populace through religion, why focus on Christian cults alone?
2. The SEC was a powerful institution that had the authority to ordain pastors (Rev 9; 17 evangelists of TT). They forced pastors nationwide to teach their Presbyterian doctrines, or else be shutdown as a cult.
Things to consider:
Interview with Mr. OH
Reality: Oh Pyeong Ho’s Testimony “Let alone the fact that he was he was hit so hard that he was about to slip and fall while preaching the word of evidence during the pastor's appointment ceremony, he never shouted that ‘you were apostates and destroyers during the pastor's appointment ceremony!’”. Furthermore, in Revelation 12:13, in the heavenly tabernacle (temple of the tabernacle), betrayers, destroyers, and saviors have never been together...far from fighting in the Heavenly Tabernacle, he’s never met and didn’t even know Lee Man-Hee.
Q1. OPH brought SEC in to destroy the TT?
But according to Lee Man Hee (SCJ)… I brought SEC in to destroy the Tabernacle Temple. But SEC had nothing to do with the Tabernacle Temple. There’s no relevance.
What does this mean? SEC never had any relations or business with the Tabernacle Temple or any sort of Cult Cleansing Movement. It was privately established as an educational program for pastors who are willing to pay to attend seminars to continue their studies while carrying out their pastoral duties. This is backed up by a separate testimony from Reverend Won Se Ho, the main author of SEC’s educational material/textbook and their advertising posters. (More info and evidence shown in the following section about the SEC)

Q&A with Mr. OH
Q2. SEC received authority from President Chun to Cleanse religious cults during the 5th Republic?“It is true the stewardship movement and activities were carried out during President Chun’s era. However, I have never met President Chun. We never received orders to conduct a cult cleanse.”
TN: 5th republic of South Korea started in March 1981 after the new constitution was established.
Q6. 1981.9.20 Pastor Ordination at TT?
“At that time, I was a professor in biblical linguistics at Chong shin University. I belonged to a joint conservative denomination, and I was enrolling all these pastors for re-education, they all came into central presbytery. The Ordination was held at Hope (Somang) Church in Gwacheon [previously named Isaac Church], where I was in charge of the ordination…
I ordinated 17 people. But it’s a lie that these people were ordained without seminary training. And this wasn’t conducted by the SEC, it was conducted by Central Presbytery. And these pastors have to pass pastoral exams in order to get ordained. There’s the evangelists,[…],pastors exams.”
SEC doesn’t have the authority to ordain [Central Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Korea was the organization that ordained]

What was the Stewardship (Cheongjigi) Education Center?
Slide used in Shincheonji’s fulfillment trainings. Shincheonji claims that the SEC forced all pastors to study their doctrines to be qualified as legitimate. But let’s look at the evidence…
What was the Stewardship (Cheongjigi) Education Center?Seminars to help pastors with their studies and pastoral duties
Oh Pyeong Ho’s testimony Video
What was the Stewardship (Cheongjigi) Education Center?Literally an educational program about stewardship.
Interview with Rev. Won-Seho (1 of the Founder of SEC & “1 of the 7 Heads of the Beast”):
(Interviewer): Could you please explain the situation at that time, leading to the establishment of the Cheongjigi Education Center?
Won Se-ho: “As the author of the ‘Cheongjigi Theory’ I am the person who initiated the Cheongjigi Movement.
The reason I wrote the Cheongjigi Theory was that I realized the principles of biblical interpretation. When I started educating pastors, I noticed that they lacked knowledge of church politics and church management. I thought this wouldn't do.
Cheongjigi... Cheongjigi... The term originally appears in Deuteronomy.
I decided to study Cheongjigi and teach it to others. At that time, the church was facing challenges, and pastors lacked theological and specific knowledge in certain areas. I supported the Cheongjigi Movement with my theory to help address these weaknesses.”

What was the Stewardship (Cheongjigi) Education Center? Not government related.
Won Se-ho: So, it's not related to the previous government's actions, and it's not something Oh Pyeong-ho initiated on his own. It happened when I was conducting a ministry gathering, and the church felt the need for it.
Tak Sung Hwan came to me and discussed it, and Pastor Kim Jung-du also mentioned it. They said, "If you help, we can do it," so that's when the Cheongji-gi movement began.
Several pastors shared the goal of revitalizing the Korean church. They aimed to educate pastors, providing guidance on church management and affairs. In essence, it was an educational institution for pastors, known as Cheongji-gi, with the sole purpose of rejuvenating the church.

Interview with Rev. Won-Seho (1 of the Founder of SEC & “1 of the 7 Heads of the Beast”):
Let’s verify Pastor Oh and Rev. Won Seho’s Statements
Summary from their statements suggests that SEC was:1. Not a government related institution
2. Not a powerful institute that can shut down churches nor force pastors to receive their doctrines. Rather, they provided stewardship trainings & seminars for the pastors. Hence the name “stewardship education center”.
3. Additionally note: They did not have 7 heads.
When was the Stewardship (Cheongjigi) Education Center? Activities started in 1981, not 1980.
First textbook published: March 31, 1981, written by Won se Ho
This book was the first instructional material of the Cheongjigi Education Center, authored by Rev. Go Won-seho. It was published on March 31, 1981, suggesting that the Cheongjigi Education Center likely began its training programs for pastors in spring 1981.
*Shincheonji teaches that SEC enters the tabernacle in 1980 when the church sign changed and Mr. Oh takes over the church from Mr. Yoo, something that cannot have happened given the timeline.

Advertisement for applying to the training program
1. For pastors
2. Voluntary & paid participation (not mandatory)
3. Content of training: Stewardship theory and training for pastors (no specific denomination referenced, no presbyterian theology mentioned, no cult cleansing mentioned)
4. Purpose: to help churches grow
5. Training start date: June 1981
Did the SEC have 7heads between?5 Lecturers in 1981.
1. Stewardship program established in the 80s to spur church growth
2. Organization structure 5 lecturers:
3 Directors of SEC(Pastor Tak, Pastor Kim, Pastor Oh), 1 full time instructor (Won Se-ho, founder & author), Director of International Religious Issues Research Institute (Mr. Tak M., sponsored SEC but not a member of the organization http://www.atsnu.org/_chboard//bbs/board.php?bo_table=m5_1&wr_id=201084&sst=wr_datetime&sod=desc&sop=and&page=3)
Did the Stewardship (Cheongjigi) Education Center have 7heads?3 heads of the SEC & Mr. Oh
In 1981, SEC published 2 textbooks for training pastors. And according to Won Seho & Mr. Oh, Mr. Oh joined later after their establishment to help fund, organize venues & other admin work. Where the main lecturers and authors are the 3 reverends (Pastor Tak, Kim and Won) recorded in the textbook. This can be verified next in their advertising…

Did the SEC Have 7 heads?Minus 1 Head. Defamation of Pastor Baek Dong Seop.
Although the court case is ongoing, the verdict is in fact not important (court only decides whether it qualifies as legal defamation). However, the evidence and statements that has been submitted are verified by the court.
We can also see from the all the REAL SEC documents and published literature from 1980s that Pastor Baek Dong Seop’s name has never appeared alongside any of the other pastors and directors of the SEC.

3. Taught Presbyterian doctrines/commentaries “Teachings of the Nicolaitans/ food sacrificed to Idols” (Rev 2)?
Things to consider:
1. The stewardship program’s target audience: Sound/legitimate Pastors & Clergy.
2. “Those interested please apply”, the training program is voluntary and requires payment to participate.
3. To teach pastors how to steward (look after, manage and lead) their churches.
4. The SEC completely ended by the end of the “7 years” of judging Babylon with the 7 bowls of wrath by 1991 (Rev 16).
But the SEC still existed in 1995 😐
What was the SEC? Summary
4. They led non-denominational trainings for pastors to learn how to “steward” - in other words, church keeping. No emphasis on presbyterian doctrines.
5. Trainings started in 1981
6. There were no 7 heads of the SEC. It was founded by 3 pastors who wanted to help Korean churches to grow. They had the help of Pastor Oh and sponsored by Mr. Tak M.
~Son of the late Baek Dong Seop, who is taught as 1 of 7 heads an agent Satan, files a defamation lawsuit against Shincheonji. Mr. Baek claimed that he never belonged to the SEC, nor took part in the ordination on 9.20.1980.
~Kim Bong-gwan and Han Ui-taek were also randomly added

Lee Man Hee’s Background

About Lee Man Hee
Events to evaluate
1. Joined the Olive tree movement 1956-1966. Joined another cult from 1978-1980, a year after Jesus supposedly anointed him “to go back to the TT to witness and write letters to the rebellious tabernacle of the 7 golden land stand”. He also joined another cult called “The Re-creation Church” led by former 7 messenger Baek Man Bong (Solomon).
2. Lee Man Hee and Mr. Hong In prison and under probation until 1981-1984. During the entire period of Destruction, he was ”spiritually dead”. When did he fight and overcome the group of the Dragon with his brothers?
3. Shintan (1984) was approved and sold for over 10 years. Even though it is now deemed as corrupt.
4. 1987 was the prophesied to be the final days when the 144,000 would be completed.
5. Claimed 144,000 are complete and covid is the great tribulation. Now back tracking in 2023, saying that he was duped by the tribe leaders.
6.Said that he would live forever. Now claims that he will pass away, that he wants to see the 10 declarations enacted into UN before he “goes”.
Lee Man Hee and The Olive Tree Movement
Lee Man Hee never fails to remind his audience that he has never received an education and never learned the word anyone except from God. Even though, as most leaders and older members know very well, he had been a part of The Olive Tree Movement (A hugely successful cult in the 1950s—60s with over 2million members at it’s peak). This used to be on the official Korean SCJ website but has been removed in the recent years. Yet, what’s lesser known and never admitted was his involvement with another cult called “The Re-creation Church” in 1978-1980.
Most SCJ members have been taught to think his involvement in the Olive Tree Movement doesn’t matter. Because they reason that past involvements with the wrong Church shouldn’t matter. The example misleadingly equated was Jesus’ involvement with the Jewish temples before his ministry, saying that Jesus was also a part of a “cult”. In addition, members are trained to think that his involvement was brief, and quickly ended after finding out that the church was corrupt, that’s when the spirit guided him to the Tabernacle Temple instead.
Then why claim he has never learnt from man? Why not be open about this fact if it’s even scriptural? And what about the Re-creation Church after he had been ”anointed” by Jesus?

Lee Man-hee, who “came from Cheongdo in 1978”, followed Baek Man-bong, calling “him Lord and teacher”
You have begun to gather people who were disappointed and left the tabernacle?
”Yes. From then on, I was gathering little by little, and called it a re-creation church, and appointed twelve disciples on a first-come, first-served basis…Mr. Lee Man-hee came last and got into the 12.”
Yoo Jae Yeol Sues Lee Man Hee for Defamation
Rev 11:7-9
Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them… For three and a half days some from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial.
Yoo Jae Yeol sues Lee Man Hee & Hong Jae Ho in 1980 for defamation. Court rules in favor of Yoo Jae Yeol,
3.5 year prison sentence to 성북구치소 Seongbuk Detention Center (10/27/80).
Court granted both an early release on 2/2/81, shortened to 98 days, with 3 years probation until 2/7/1984.
TN/ During Probation Period: repeat offense would result in returning to prison to satisfy the original sentence,
or an extended sentence depending on the offense. Meaning between Oct 1980~1984, if Lee Man Hee & Hong Jae returned to their “trumpet duties” at the Tabernacle Temple they would’ve been imprisoned for violating their probation.

(김목사)이게 그 1989년6월,6월 그 신천지소식지 입니다 " 여기 보게 되면은 신탄이 신간안내로 광고가 돼 있어요 (총회장)그게 전부 같으면 그 뒤에 책을 쓰지 않았을 것입니다 | (Chairman) I am talking about the Shintan (new covenant) book, and there are many stories about it. However, the person now doesn't know well what is recorded in the Shintan book. The issue lies there, and there is much to say about it! Nevertheless, making excuses would sound like mere noise. However, in 1981? 1987? 1988? The issue is, my friends...
Well, I apologize for saying something unusual in our Christian context. There is a day known as the Day of the Universe's Orbit, and perhaps people of different beliefs are aware of such things. It's when the universe completes one full rotation and returns to its original position. In our Bible, there are words like Alpha and Omega, but that year is not 1987 or 1988; it's actually 1984~!
(Pastor Kim) Oh, Chairman, I'm sorry…Is this book completely unrelated to the previous book?
(Chairman) Yeah, that's right, but regarding that Shintan Book, this person doesn't know what's recorded in it. Originally, this record was made by Hong Jong-hyo.
And he even used my name for it to sell it~. I said there's no need to fix it.
(Pastor Kim) Has Shincheonji never sold it at all?
(Chairman) Well, it started like that. Hong Jong-hyo was inside our group, and before he left, he did it like that.
(Pastor Kim) So, there's no record of Shincheonji ever selling it, right?
(Chairman) There's no record of selling the Shintan Book outside, and if it was sold, it was done by Hong Jong-hyo at that time.
(Pastor Kim) This is from June 1989, the Shincheonji Newsletter. There's no record of Shincheonji ever selling the Shintan Book, right?
(Chairman) There's no record of selling the Shintan Book outside, and if it was sold, it was done by Hong Jong-hyo at that time.
(Pastor Kim) This is from June 1989, the Shincheonji Newsletter. "If you look here, the Shintan Book is advertised as a new release.
(Chairman) If everything were the same, then we wouldn't have written the book afterward. |
Claims the selling was Mr. Hong’s doing.
Yet Shintan was advertised long after
he left (1987).

Importance of Shintan?
Prophesied Time Limit for The Sealed 144,000 & The End
Shintan (神誕), “Birth of God.”
“Everything will be completed in 3.5 years from 3/14/84 (September 1987).”The sealing period is not indefinite, but is “set as a period of recovery equal to the number of years during which the person was trampled by the destroyer.”
So, it means that it ends with being trampled on for 3.5 years and then sealed for 3.5 years.
Lee Man-Hee's sealing means that Jesus is sealing.
