HOw do we use AAC to model?

Worried about finding all of the words you need? No problem! Only focus on finding 1 or 2 of the words in your sentences on the CORE page. You can fill in the rest of the sentence with your spoken words (EX. Say “Do you want to play a game?” and press “want play”).

Don’t worry about leaving the first page of your device. The home page (ie CORE words) hold the most powerful and versatile words to learn!

  • If you are feeling comfortable with the core words and modelling during your game, try going into the “describing” folder to make a comment about your block creation!
  • EX. “Looks great!”, “That fun!”, “Like this”, “Not like”
