Integration into Core Curriculum

ELA

Have your teachers address these skills while teaching ELA curriculum.

  • When using a read aloud to teach a standard such as characters in a story, integrate the skill (such as communication). Ask students what they notice about how the characters communicate with each other.

Project Based Learning

Have your teachers address these skills while conducting PBL units.

  • When completing a PBL unit, integrate the skills that students will need to complete the project.
  • For example: teamwork, communication, goal setting, etc.

Our resources can be used to integrate into core curriculum if your teachers are running low on time or if students need extra practice with their skills.

They can use the engaging slides and/or challenge slides to easily take small portions of the lesson into core subject areas throughout the day.
