Host Institution: Bethel Christian School

Bethel Christian School (BCS) is a small, private school that offers rigorous academics along with a biblical philosophy. Elementary classes visit the library weekly. Students check out books, learn a basic knowledge of the Dewey Decimal System, library etiquette, and basic research skills. Students may also use library time to take Accelerated Reader quizzes.

Teaching and testing the students on the Dewey Decimal Classification and other library concepts through the use of my games would help to make lessons of the library that need to be learned more engaging, fun and interesting.

My games are targeted to students in grades 3-6. By playing a variety of games, students will be able to engage classmates in friendly but competitive ways, push themselves to earn badges, retain important library concepts, and enjoy their library time.
